This place was amazing because you could only access from a few spots. The beach was a beautiful approx 2km long and even after storms was free from a lot of washed up trash. There are few bars and resorts to stop in and have...More

We were in this part of the island and the beach was a bit wavy because of the season but warm. We had a nice stay around

I stayed here for a few weeks, it was so lovely, I ended up changing my flight and sticking around. Staff from each resort on the beach pick up rubbish from it daily and so it is much cleaner than every other beach I visited...More

This bay is a hidden gem in Lanta. Probably the best place to set aside the sea and relax as it is not crowded and quiet.

We spent 5 weeks traveling Thailand and this was my favorite beach by far. The right hand side has a bar called “why not” which is one of those hippie bars, so if you’re into high priced food and drinks just for the hippie vibe...More

We stayed at the Alama Sea View Resort (see review elsewhere). Kantiang is a sleepy little village, but has everything you need (including the essential 7/11!). It is situated at one end of a pretty little bay, which although having rocks along much of it,...More

The village is small, with plenty of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, tourist facilities, accommodation and space on the beach. I loved it here, very safe and friendly.

very good beach, I went with a friend on the evening to the whynot bar not the best as staff rude and tried to keep change! the seems to be some good eateries down the beach with fire displays.

There are several daytrips boats which can take you to other islands from Kantiang Bay. We stopped for a short dive at Ko Ngai, and got off at Ko Muk before the boat continued to Ko Kradan. Just ask at the hotel.
