Our guide took us here when we went to the floating market. The carvings were quite good but the prices were Americanized. They emphasize that the prices include shipping and insurance but I have seen better work in Vietnam and India for less money.

It's a nice visit while coming back from the floating market. One can see the live work by the artisan. Also a nice place to buy some soveinir for family and friends.

Even though this seemed to be a switch over point for people moving from onr tour to another it was quite interesting seeing these artisans at work, thier skill with a mallet and chisel is incredible. The staff in the show room jump on you as soon as you enter the shop and try to get you to buy quite... More

Our day tour stopped here to change passangers going to different sites. Not much to do here, but some amasing wood work can be seen. Artists sit in front of massive pieces of wood, creating extra ordinary works with hammer and chisel. I was amased, as some of these carvings must have taken years to complete.
