The ride to Dhanushkodi Beach from Rameshwaram is thrilling, awesome and definitely a life time experience. The beach is neat and clean with low tide waters. It's a nice place to spend some time in solitude away from the crowd in the town and enjoy cool sea breeze.

The ocean and the sea are separated by just a road enroute to Dhanushkoti is a very rare sight that one must not miss. The adventurous ride in the ocean with water coming in almost up to the bonnet is something that one will remember for a lifetime. There's nothing much as such to see in Dhanushkoti except the beach... More

It is one of the most scenic places in India. If you want to run from the crowd and need some time alone in quite and peaceful place then this is the place. Visit there. But try to have your own bike or car cause else you will miss out all the fun.

A pleasant drive by Car, not to miss the Quad bike drive on the way. Take a Gypsy of a Jeep for the last 5kn instead of the mini bus if you are used to luxury travel. We did not know of this option till we rerached.

If you wish to visit the tip of the stretch of land from where the Ram Setu is said to start then you need to go by personal transport/rented car.

clear blue sea water on either side of the beautiful approach road. The sea here is quite shallow and you could walk several feet into the water and offer prayers

Nice road is laid till the end of the land in Dhanushkodi. But normal vehicles are not allowed through the road. We have to hire a Jeep/ Van which will go through the muddy sea side and back waters ( it is more enjoyable ) and we reach the ghost village. we also can see the remnants of destroyed village...
