Lake may not attract many people but the place have divine scenic view. Your camera will definitely thanks you at this place. Silent place and abandoned small houses on hill with bird chirping makes this place more interesting.

The lake is located at a distance of more than 20 kms from town and takes 45-60 minutes by car/mini bus.The lake is a source of water supply to Perryikulan village. This a very peaceful place to relax.

We went for a walk along the path - it was so serene, beautiful. Really loved the peaceful setting. It is clean, well-kept. Definitely recommended.

You need to collect it from Kodaikanal forest office, which is inside town. Rs. 200/- for car. From 8 am, they issue permit. Its better if you reach before 8 am as there is queue normally. I think they issue some 50 vehicles... More
