After parking your car you need to walk for 5 min to reach the lake. Good view around. You can click lot of fotos.there is a small temple here. Toilet is available and they charge RS 10. But it's not maintained.

If you re jungle lover go for it, else would just say what was there inside, not worth the view along with safari instead go for safari in ooty !!!!

Since we didn't take the permission, no clue..but please check with the hotel you are staying or the driver. Sorry can't help much.

Yes sir U should get a letter from the officials (should provide all the details) from forest dept. Aletter will be provided which they will ask u in the gate check point after pillar rock.
