There was no water!!!

The falls were much better a year back, it used to be full of water. The amount of trash in that place is insane. The tourists or visitors just leave their trash there. There... read more

The falls is just 2 to 3 km from city and the location is very Calm & Quite. Also there won't be much crowd.

This point is nearest to the bus stand. The falls is inside a dense jungle and car would leave at a point after which you have to venture through dense jungle of about 2 Kms on your own. We went half way and did not garner courage to proceed as we saw people boozing and kind of shady.

The falls were much better a year back, it used to be full of water. The amount of trash in that place is insane. The tourists or visitors just leave their trash there. There should be a trash can place there and if not people should be responsible enough to know that they are ruining the beauty of this place... More

Probably September is not the right season to visit this falls. There was no water when I visited. This is located quite close to the Kodaikkanal lake. You will need to trek for about 300 meters inside a woody area along a narrow path to reach this falls. However, this stretch is filled with eucalyptus trees and the smell of... More

The falls could be quite pretty, but there are too many tourists and the place has become a complete mess, full of noise and garbage!

After taking the road where the BSNL office is present you walk n then take a right turn to go these falls, which in itself is not so impressive. But then you can laze with ur feet in the water pool and then make a trek to the top which is challenging but worthwhile.

When you will enter in Kodaikanal, Bear Shola Falls is the first tourist point. At our visit fall was a live means water was dropping to earth. However this is not a perfect fall for bathing as it is rather dangerous but a nice spot for photography. Overall a good visit.

The road leading to Bear Shola falls is a stone throw away from the Hotel we were put up at - Stony Kraft Hotel. The walk along this road all the way to the falls is many proportions better than the falls itself. No water there even though it rained the day before. But I am not complaining at all.... More

Bear Shola Falls was 10 minutes walk from our hotel. So we walked to it. Was expecting atleast a decent falls. But it was nothing. There was no falls. The route to the falls was good, like a little jungle. But there wasn't even a drop of water in the falls. It was july, and it was even raining at... More
