You get really beautiful views from this location. There is a small market right outside which is well managed. Do try 'Chilli Bhajji' from there (worth risking Delhi Belly).

the rocks are in the shape of pillar and gives good photo opportunity. if there is fog/mist then it will not be good as you dont see anything.

It is nature beauty place but in Month of May it is very crowded. May be if weather is foggy then you cant see anything.Nothing much activity here. You can click some nature pic here.

Walking towards the pillar rocks and echo sound are peculiar experience for all the visitors. Looks green in the month of October and all months are good to visit. Mostly people prefer to visit in the summer that is from March to May.

Well i have been twice to pillar rock and it depends on weather, if it's cloudy you won't see a thing if it's not then you can see pillar rock, which is worth a watch.

I had visited here two days before with my friends , it's really worthless nothing to see only floating snow is there nothing more don't even feel like to take a single snap...waste of money it's like they are creating some sports to collect money...

We had to search for the rocks as it was very misty weather with few showers. But an awesome place to see.

A view of the Pillar rocks forms part of the sightseeing trip at Kodaikanal. I really didn't find anything interesting about this place. It's just a view of the rocks from a distance. For me this was just a waste of time nothing facinating.

The pillar is stunning to view and you can catch the glimpse of the pillars clear if there is no mist. It is an iconic view of the mother earth creation. Good to visit when the place is not crowded much.
