This place is so neatly maintained and have a perfect evening view, its just must visit. Its a up hill 2 Kms walk from Kodai lake. You can opt for vehicle or a walk. Entry fee is very nominal. They close at 6.30 which is perfect time for the view. So choose your entry late in evening or early in... More

Coakers Walk is one of the most famous tourist spots in Kodaikanal. It is located within the city limits and is easily accessible. Earlier, there used to be only a small fence protecting you from the deep valley. But now, they have fenced the entire place properly, after a few accidents and suicides. This is close to Kodaikanal main city. Its a wonderful place with a beautiful mountain view from this area. There were many shops selling best herbal oil at the exit points too.

Coakers walk offers good view point of Kodaikanal. It is best to visit on a Sunny day. If there is fog then you cannot view anything from this point.

From this location you get a breath taking view of the mountains. Its chilled always with misty views. However beware of monkeys.
