No frills... simple... ensure that you buy loads of the delicious prasad. A Rs.100 donation gets you front row viewing and darshan, coupled with immediate prasad and flower pujas.

The temple is in Vrindavan and not Bharatpur .You have cross lots of sweet shops as like the main main temple . Beware of the Monkeys as they are very clever and do care of your belongings

We ended our day in Bharatpur by visiting Bankebihari Mandir. We were lucky to be present when Evening Arti started. It was grand and beautiful. It was a blissful experience.

Ancient and highly revered temple, thronging with devotees. Poor infrastructure and site access. Monkeys by the dozen who steal eyeglasses, hats and any other object that gets them food!!!

The place is forever crowded with hundreds of devotees making an aggressive effort to seek divine blessings of the lord, Be ready to be pushed around and confronted with scores of touts who will show you around for a price. Hope somebody takes a notice and sets the things right so that the faith of devout continues.
