It was a good trip, but as we went in afternoon it was very difficult for ous to know about any bird, you must hire a guide. If you are in group u must hire bicycle otherwise you cn have rickshaws

Me and my colleague visited the park early in the morning at around 6.40 am. The entry ticket was Rs. 75 and car is not allowed inside. If you are carrying a camera, the ticket for camera is around Rs. 600. There are rickshaws available but they are probably only interested in foreign tourists and they refused to take us... More

It's a must visit place for all photographers, especially during Feb/Mar to see the action of all the migratory birds.

This is undoubtedly the best Bird Sanctury I have visited in India. It's full of water now after years of problems and there are thousands of birds scattered far and wide within its walled boundary. Various roads, some tar and some dust, criss cross throughout and you can either walk, cycle or take a cycle rickshaw. (No motorised vehicles are... More

highly recommend a visit to the bird sanctuary. Good thing is that it is not commercialised. The place allows you to experience the natural setting and spot a large variety of birds.

November to February is the season to visit the bird sanctuary. Paid parking avb near the entrance. Sanctuary open from sunrise to sunset. Tkt rates 75/500 per head for Indian/foreigners. U can walk (total distance would be around 10+10 kms to and fro), rent cycle or hire a cycle rickshaw (Rs 100/hour). The sanctuary cycle rickshaws have the details of... More

Situated on NH11, it is also called Ghana bird Sancuary. There is a single long road about 7-8 km upto the end of tourist available park. Ticket is there. There are various ways to go inside like on foot, Rickshaws (accomodate 2 adults max), Tongas (of horse), bicycles (available on rent). The park is nice, with various types of birds... More

Compared to the state of the part during my previous visit (see my earlier post), KNP has had a lot of water and the park is now well suited to receive and nest a lot more birds than before.
