We visited the park to watch birds, and were amazed by thennumbers and ease of viewing. Our guide, Manoj, was excellent. It is also a really lovely place for people who enjoy space and nature. Lots of deer, jackal, monkeys, monitor lizards and, they say, leopard - although we did not see them. The vistas are lovely and the air... More

This is the best place in Rajasthan for Bird Watching !! The best part is that you can either take a Cycle or choose to walk in the forest area to see the Birds and enjoy the time as per your convenience and no Rush. The Rickshaw drivers are bit pushy and try to take some extra money but its better... We had been to Keoladeo Ghana National Park during the weekend of 25th March 2017. It was planned just a day ahead and we booked a room in Hotel Bharatpur Ashok, which was the only forest lodge inside the sanctuary. We drove down from Gurgaon and reached during mid-day, a comfortable 4 hour drive through Sohna Road, KMP expressway, Mathura... More

Loved this place. Come early morning and walk. Don't get a rickshaw, it's a peaceful place to stroll through. No one hassles you and all you hear is the sounds of the birds waking up. Entry is 400rupee!

Even outside the bird season we discovered several king fishers, owls and other great birds. We also saw deer and a jackal. Very good guide and very nice to do this with the bike.

ENJOYMENT FACTOR: Very High, especially when the water level is good. Beautiful setting and so many birds, it deserves its UNESCO designation. The distances are pretty far, so you can rent bicycles or take a cycle rickshaw to travel between areas. Rickshaws are useful to leave your equip in and quickly get ready for a shot. Did I mention this... More

We stayed at the 'Hotel Sunbird ' (fantastic place) which was a stones throw from the entrance of the park. The hotel organised a naturalist and rickshaw to guide us around the park and even a packed lunch. We saw so much and had a wonderful experience, unfortunately after 7 hours we had to request to be taken back to... More
