This museum is a part of Lohagarh fort and is converted from the Royal court of that time. This have a huge inventory of Guns and war materials used at the royal time. One can spend 1 hour here.

It is located in the heart of Loharghar Fort and is open from 9 am to 5 pm. I forgot the entry fee amount but you need to buy one to enter the main museum. This Palace was also known as Kacheiri Kalan and used to serve as administrative office to the Jat Rulers.

In the Lohagarh Fort area, we visited Government Museum Bharatpur that contained some articles that belonged to the ruling Jat royal family. It also had some statues from various time period (8th century A.D.) onward. However the display was poor and there was hardly any staff to help. The building was magnificent though and the sprawling structure provided various photo... More

While in Bharatpur, with time to kill, you find very few places. So, the museum becomes an interesting option. It's quite a small museum but has some nice artefacts and guns. Some stuffed animals (from the Raj era) like leopard and bear are also there.

A few fine sculptures in the arcaded outdoor gallery, but the jewel of the place is the hamam! A beautiful, colorful painted domed ceiling, slender, elegant supporting columns, intricate marble floors. Several small rooms and a larger area - you can just imagine the royal women lounging and gossiping, plotting and bathing in those deep marble tubs! Great place!

A beautiful place to visit in Bharatpur. History to be learned in a new way. Architecture and technology in place will make you feel humble.

An excellent place to visit. Gives you the idea about the historic relevance of the place with relics as old as mohenjodaro and the old arms & collections of the Maharajas.
