A great place to visit .. If you ever come to Amritsar plz make sure to visit Golden Temple. The food nearby is also good. There is a place called Brothers Dhaba a must visit to eat the best food in Amritsar.

Its beautiful and divine place, clean and its spread in huge area. The best part about Gurudwaras are cleanliness,langar,volunteers and self service.

Its worth to watch such temple which is shielded with Gold. Prefer to visit in evening, because Golden Temple looks more beautiful in Night after all lights are on. It has huge premise. Always ensure you are covering your head when you are inside premises....More

Don't worry at all about the rains, even if there are any, the holy spirit prevailing there, will make you dance to the rhythm of rain drops....:-)

Depends on time of Day and if Some Sikh Festival is coming it can be 4-5 Hours.. we visited at around 9.30 at night on a weekday.. it took us 1 hour for parikrama and darshan. which is normal time if there is no queue. best... More
