The Golden temple is truly a wonder. The place is beautiful, peaceful and well managed. Don't forget to eat in the langar.

Have been to harmandir sahab at least five six times and always a great treat to mind and soul. Amazingly blissful this havenly place is. Would visit Everytime I am in Amritsar

You feel like you are entirely in a different world. Harmandir Sahib is a symbol of beauty and spirituality. Amazing and Amazing place. It's really difficult to explain its beauty merely in words.

It is allowed on the premises but you cannot click pictures inside main gurudwara itself. You can click pictures everywhere else - sarovar, langar hall etc

Best time to visit temple is early morning preferably 5am or even slightly before that. Don't forget to take light winter wear if you are going in now. Temple is at its best during this time and you can expect less rush... More

Dear, I have been to Amritsar on 6 - 7 occasions and have stayed in Hotels nearby. You may also stay at the Hotels within the range & enjoy the Food outing specially Paneer & Chicken dishes
