Though not exactly a tourist spot, one could visit the Khalsa college in Amritsar to view the magnificient architecture and beautiful lawns surrounding the college. Knowing a local would probably help one gain access inside the campus. We could only marvel at the structure from the outside.

It's a good architecture building. Recently the tour bus(hop on hop off) has made it as a spot. Photographers will enjoy that place due to its architecture structure.

Its not actually a visiting point but the most famous college of Amritsar. The architect of the college is very beautiful that makes the tourists to have a sneak peak of it. Its more than 100 years old college. I doubt whether the visitor are allowed to enter the campus without any permission.

Truly fabulous educational campus I have visited. The college is 120 years old and the stately building standing in the large, tranquil campus grounds is most impressive. I am not sure if visitors are generally allowed into the campus. I was stopped by the security and was consented entry after I kindly requested to see the campus. Very beautiful place... More

We visited the Khalsa College because of a local... and we were not disappointed. The architecture of the college is really beautiful and worth at least one visit. Even when it is full of students, it is a nice, quiet place. During classes, you cannot enter the buildings, so we sat on the lawn outside for sometime and soaked in... More

Khalsa College Amritsar is an institute of higher education.  It is famous world wide among Sikh community as it is based on the ideas of their Great Gurus. The college advocates progressive attitude of mind. They have dedicated faculty and disciplined students. They have high-tech laboratories, large playing grounds and well stocked and computerized library with bar code system.  Their... More

We passed by the Khalsa college campus located on the main GT road while we were on our way towards Wagah border. Basically not a tourist spot but a college with a building and campus which is an architecture marvel. The building looks more of a palace or a 5-star hotel rather than a college. The campus has beautiful lush... More

Our guide was an alumn, so we asked to make a short visit. BEAUTIFUL architecture and vast lawns! Lovely students bustling about. Colorful turbans and sars and the architecture make for A VERY photogenic place.
