Very well maintained place but I expected to see more of Punjab culture. Was told that it may take 3.5hrs -4hrs to go around but we could complete the round in 2/2.5hrs. Food in the restaurant is included in the package of Rs700/head. Food is average though unlimited. Service is good. Given an option to choose between visiting this place or another historical place in Amritsar, I will choose the later.

The owner of our guest house suggested this as a nice Punjabi experience. We had a great time there. Trying on clothes, fed withlocal food and entertainment including the ‘wall of death’ , martial arts, cycling and a magic show.

I visited with my family in last week of Dec. 2018. There was big hype about these place and we also got carried away. Entry is very costly. 750 per person. There is just small few houses made to show the Punjab village life and few musical and activity show. You can say it is a one kind of fair nothing much. Food is included in your charges .Food is available at last corner of resort so don't missed it. Overall I found money wasted.

I had my pre-wedding function booked there. I went to finalise few details just before the function. I was appalled to see how they were treating animals there. Horses they use for rides had injuries from using rope as girth to tie saddle and horses were injured at stomach, saddle sores and another one had really bad feet due to poor maintenance. Horses hated people and they were clearly in so much pain. When confronted staff they tried to give me stories that the injuries are from horses kicking each other but I have 9 horses and I know that those injuries are due to negligence of the management. Also camel was so thirsty that when they open the tap to fill water for horses, he ran up to the tap and started drinking from it. I have now cancelled my function with them and will not be taking any of my guest at such a place where animals are suffering. Sent an email to the management and waiting to hear if they will be sorting any veterinary treatment for the animals or they are going to keep riding them to death.

For those who have humanity and compensation for animals please boycott them.

Some friend recommended and we opted to go to this superb place. It gives you a rich cultural feel of village. Lot many activities and selfie points were there. Recommended time is that you reach in daylight and stay till 8 or 9 pm. You will take atleast 4-5 hours of fun. Njoy the traditional food, however my personal feel, the food served in restaurant was not so delicious.
ALso a bit costly affair - Rs 750/- per person.
You can plan this along with War Memorial (if you love history - it will take around 3 hours) in morning, lunch at Haveli restaurant (buffet served at Rs 315/- pp), Wagah border and on return (by 530 pm) go to Sadda Pind for fun and dinner. They all fall on one route.
For this complete day outing the taxi takes around Rs 1500/-
