I went to Someshwar temple. Located in the suburbs on the banks of River Godavari, Someshwar temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Nashik. It is great place to go.

It is a small temple in pleasant natural surroundings. However, the serenity is offset by last rite rituals' performance on the bank of Godavari flowing beside the temple.

I believe Pind daan and other such activities are done at Ramkund, Panchvati. If you have a priest with yourself, great else I guess you will get a priest there as well to do the needful.
