Nice view! A quaint little place!

The view from the wine tasting room is pretty good, overlooking a river. Went in the evening, would have wanted to spend some time after sunset, but wasn't able to. Red wines are... read more

A nice way to end a day after another tasting at one of the nearby wineries. It seemed to be the smallest property around. However while looking at the sunset over the nearby lake and tasting wines, together with olives and cracker is indeed enjoyable. Still, the taste of the wines, at least in our case, were more sour than... More

Lovely place with an amazing view of the nearby dam makes this place all the more to be on the 'to be visited' lists. Their restaurant 'Cellar Door' is worth a mention - good food & good wine. The winery tour along with wine tasting is also worth a mention.

The view from the wine tasting room is pretty good, overlooking a river. Went in the evening, would have wanted to spend some time after sunset, but wasn't able to. Red wines are good, but didn't prefer the white ones as taste of spices/peppers wasn't for my palate

I won't say that it is better than Sula but it is definitely more peaceful and scenic than Sula as it is much more closer to the lake. It is hardly 2 kms from Sula and parking is available . My only suggestion is that the you have one drink less at Sula and visit this place for that drink.... More

It was part of the wine tasting tour that we had visited this winery. Along with good wines and an interesting story of how YORK was named after the owner's Children. The amazing view and the wonderful campus makes this trip memorable. It is along the route of other two known wineries which are Sula & Soma. Must visit if... More

Drove to York from a (it's a bit beyond Sula) resort and the roads were nice. The best thing about it is the wine-tasting room upstairs because there's a fantastic view from the open edge tables. The wines are also good - light, fruity, just wonderful. But that's kind of it. They have a restaurant that serves okay food. This... More

Sula vineyard is popular among tourist but York which just a few kilometers further from Sula . York is also smaller when compared with Sula but has a lot when it comes view and experience. It is less crowded and priced fairly. Their tours are more personalized than Sula. Please check their opening hours before visiting. When it comes to... More

Had been to Nashik a couple of weeks back and decided to visited the famed vineyards. While the obvious choice would have been the most famous - Sula, had heard that it is crowded and too touristy, so decided to go aporix 2 km ahead to York. York has a nice informative tour which shows the wine making process. The... More
