I've been to sanctuary several times and had the opportunity to see elephants. Beware of monkeys while you enter the gate.

Chinnar Wild Life sanctuary is situated in the Munnar to Udumalpet route.One can enjoy the scenic beauty of fore during our travel through this route. We can watch wild animals during the visit if we are lucky.

We were crossing this jungle to reach Munnar. Didn't find any animal on the way. It was too hot to explore more. May be april-may is not a good time. Not sure

The roads are actually not good but still you are able to travel. We actually travelled from valparai-pollachi-chinnar-munnar. Its very hot during summer. I don't know what the road will look like when its raining. The trip is actually good.

i am not sure. its very hot in may. so better avoid
