We visited Punarjani Traditional Village on 30th Nov. There are 2 shows there. The first one is a Kathakali performance from 5 to 6 pm followed by Kalarippayattu from 6 to 7 pm. It's best to book your tickets in the morning as the front seats were taken by the time we went to book in the afternoon. Since we... More

This is a show of traditional Kerala Kalari and Kathakali. The ticket is very costly. May be affordable for Foreigners and wealthy people. Any way spending one time for the artist is fine for me. There are two shows every day. Take the front seat to get a good view of the show.

Explore and enjoy the traditional danceforms of kathakalli and martial art of kalaripayattu. Takes approximately 2 hours for both performances. Plan for tickets in advance though.

Loved the whole performance. There is one daily 5-6 show followed by martial art performances. There are 3 categories of seating. First 7 rows are for 300rs, then for 200rs and lastly the balcony seats for 250. The performance was amazing. Must not miss this amazing experience

We booked seats for a Kalaripayuttu performance and were thoroughly impressed. The performers were trained for years in Kerala's traditional martial arts and their skills were breath-taking. Kalaripayuttu is supposed to be the origin of many East Asian martial arts, including Karate and Kung Fu. Book a front-row seat for a better view and photographic opportunities.

I had the opportunity to watch the Kalaripayattu show recently. I thoroughly enjoyed the martial arts and appreciate your effort to keep the traditional arts alive. The ambience, the weapons, the attire and every single act was very interesting. The acts with the fire rings were fantastic. A small suggestion, it would be nice to include more woman performers and... More
