I saw good reviews for Punarjani's on TripAdvisor and decided to visit this place to see the Kathakali show. They offer 2 shows in the evening. One is Kathakali and another is a Martial arts show. Their shows are very entertaining and it will keep you hooked for two hours. We booked premium tickets for both the shows and paid... More

We watched the Kalaripayattu show here and were very impressed and entertained! This group of skilled youngsters certainly know what they're doing. My only complaint was that we couldn't really understand what was being said on the microphone. It was very muffled. Other than that, it was a riveting show!

Amazing show, full of applauds. Punarjani village is located at a distance from Munnar in pallivasal. Everyday they host two shows one kathakkali dance performance and kalaripyattu(martial arts) performance. Kathakkali show is 5-6pm but from 4-5pm they show their dressing up performance.Beautiful dance performance by the artists who mostly depict some episode from our history, like the one I watched... Went for both the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. "Awesome" is the word to describe the shows. Highly professional performances and a not to miss place. Especially Kalaripayattu is nothing short of Headline Las Vegas show. Kudos to all the youngsters. Couldn't stop from applauding wholeheartedly.

It's a must watch when u r in Munnar. A group of young boys will make you see many types of martial arts which you will enjoy for sure. I missed kathakali show(5 to 6 pm). But martial arts was very exciting even my 2 years old son was enjoying this show😊

Mind-boggling and Mind-blowing!!! I would give these 2 adjectives to the martial arts show of Punarjani. It epitomizes talent, dedication, hard-work and focus. So let me tell you a few words about Punarjani Traditional village. It is not exactly in Munnar. It is around 7-8 km from Munnar city, in Palivassal. It is a place which hosts one show each... More
