Splendid performance

This is one of the things to do if you are in Munnar, apart from Tea Gardens, Elephant ride and Spice garden visit. I have seen the Sword performance before as well in 2012. Alot... read more

I visited this place during my Munnar visit and enjoyed the Kathakali dance show from 5 to 6 PM. If you are interested about dance then this is a must visit place. This one hour show is really mind blowing. They presented a part from Mahabharata with Bhim, Droupadi and Krishna. Really enjoyable.

I highly recommend the kathakalli and kalariyapattu performance by Punarjani. A team of extremely talented and focussed artists who give you just more than your money's worth of entertainment. The kathakalli performance will amuse and interest you and the kalariyapattu act will leave you in awe and in high spirits! Their performance was good enough for me to write a... More

We experienced this traditional Kathakali dancedrama during our visit at Munnar in October 2016. It's a really a show with full of grace and mind-blowing performance by the three Kathakali artists with live music performed by few musicians. They also entertain audience taking some people on the stage. After the performance, visitors can get a chance to get their photographs... More

I guess all the people who wrote the "excellent" reviews saw a different show than we did....the first 15 minutes was a guy in a fat suit wiggling his eyes. And the martial arts performance was more gymnastics (hand stands, flips, etc) than any actual fighting. the dance part which was the part I was looking forward to was quite... More

The one hour shows do more than justice to the content... the artists are skilled & great performers. With support & recognition, i'm sure they can enhance their infrastructure in terms of venue/hall. But overall an enticing & capturing performance. A memorable experience to take back. India surely has some great talent & wonderful artists... a subtle reminder

This is one of the things to do if you are in Munnar, apart from Tea Gardens, Elephant ride and Spice garden visit. I have seen the Sword performance before as well in 2012. Alot has changed since in terms of the performers. I could tag only one performer from before. This places also houses traditional katha kali dance. Katha... More

Thanks to all the artists. They have really put their efforts to keep the old traditional dance and martial arts. Considering the ticket price, the organizers can maintain this place well. Looks like the stage and the place is not maintianed at all.

We got the perfect seats right in front to witness the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu performances. We witnessed some amazing performances from the hardworking artists. Kathakali was simply mesmerizing.

Its a must for a visitor to attend the Kathakali and Kalaripattayu show at Punarjani, to experience the real flavour of Kerala. I bet it will make your trip even more memorable.
