The entire area is blanketed with lush green carpet. The ups and downs of the hill looks like waves of posh green which we couldn't find and enjoy in our busy city life. Very nice location for a family picnic and for those who would like to take snaps to décor their FB.

I would not recommend this drive to people with back problem or senior citizens. You can only drive up the Kolukkumalai tea estate through the local jeeps for about Rs 1300.00 for the entire jeep which can accommodate about 8 adults. The drive to top is back breaking, but if you are tough enough to endure it, you are rewarded... More

Kozhukkumalai Tea Estate is a 500 acre organic tea plantation at the high altitude in Bodi. A few families are working here at the hostile cold location. It's a tough ride uphill on a mahindra jeep with very narrow path. The valley view is breath taking and simply awesome. I wonder how the British has established this tea estate in... More
