Good one if there is less crowd

Visited when there was a heavy crowd. So couldn't enjoy much. The place was good. It should be visited during less crowd to enjoy the whether and water view.

Our second stop today touring Munnar and surrounds. Our bus dropped us off in a crowded market area by the side of the water and the so called echo point. The ladies in our group enjoyed the shopping experience and bargaining with the stall owners for handicrafts and the like. The stalls are definitely catering to tourists and several offer... More

Its ok. As you are there just visit it. Place is really crowded and not so clean. You can definitely feel the echo but you might have to push your throat and voice a little and in different frequencies :-). For me it echoed twice.

Echo Point is a decent place to visit on your way to Top Point. It has an excellent view of mountains. Boating facility is available. There are many shops right next to the view point where you can buy wooden items, tea, dry fruits, banana chips, chocolates. There are eatable joints also serving food.

Good view. We can hear the eco if we scream loudly. Not much to see here. But the lake view is good.

Echo point, like most other tourist points in Munnar (Except for tea gardens) is a little hyped. There is little echo that one can hear on most days and being very crowded with tourists as well as lot of shops, this can feel like a dampener to your experience. The only good part about the place is the Pedal Boating.... More

First of all the name of this place is misleading as we couldn't hear any echo of our hollering! Anyways the location is roughly 7 kms from mattupetty dam. Scenery on the way to this point is very good and you may stop on the way to enjoy the same. The location called echo point is nothing but a shore... More
