This place is located about 3 km from munnar and makes for an amazing trekking experience for all those who enjoy pure nature, unadulterated. And this is a five hour trek and definitely put you in a happy state of mind as you gaze at the world below you.

.. Highly appreciate Jill N's review up!! Congrats & Thanks
.. Yes, you are fully right!
.. The trek starts from Lion English School.
.. I would suggest this location for trekkers and photographers or Top is equally good.

Wonderful hike! This wasn't listed on Tripadvisor yet so I thought I'd provide a description of the hike itself. We didn't want to pay for a guide and couldn't find any details on where this trek starts. If you are headed into Munnar from Pallivasal, you'll see a hotel on the right called Royal Retreat, make a left down that road. You should see a school on the right called Lions English Medium School. The trek starts right there on the left through the tea plantation. I'd suggest adding an app to your phone called maps.me as it has the hiking trail well-mapped! There's a little narrow pathway on the right about 10-15 minutes up that you'll take. It'll dead end a few feet up..take it right to continue up to the other peaks! It took us about 3 hours total there and back. Enjoy!!
