We visited the Palace in end Sep 2021 and it wasn't accepting visitors owing to renovation work. I'm not sure when will it open again, however, if you intend to visit it, pls do make enquiries before heading there.
We were a family with young kids and were self-driven in rather a large car. I was worried about the parking since it's in a busy area. To my surprise, I could take the car literally till the front of the Palace and park it on the road side. Now it could be because the Makbara is closed but lots of parking in the 200-300m range anyway.
Whatever we could see from the road, it's a beautiful monument and once it's renovated, it should look splendid. If you happen to be around this area, it could be worth your visit.

The tomb and mosque of his vazir and mahabat khan respectively are currently under renovation so had a brief visit from.the outside. While the 125+ year old monuments are sparkling in White and gold colors, not sure if all the original design elements from the indo Islamic and gothic blends have been kept in mind. Happy that the restoration would give it some more years and more tourists

Its a neglected gem of architecture. But this jewel remains in shackles; no maintenance of the monument and surroundings. Such a marvel but poor upkeep has spoiled its experience. This can actually become a hot tourist destination; monument has been designed so well; but somehow local authorities not paying needed attention. Anyways do visit if you are in Junagadh; walking distance from Railway station.

The Mahabat Maqbara is a mausoleum of the Nawabs of Junagadh who rule Junagadh between the 18th to 20th century. The building is free to enter and is an architectural wonder. The design is a magnificent fusion of Indian and European architecture, composed of elements from Indo-Islamic, Gothic Revival and a unique Junagadh style for the minars around the mausoleum. The latter are towers but with stairs on the outside and with pavilions on three levels. The floral decorative elements all over the mausoleum are outstanding, which the multi-domed roof of different sized domes are enchanting.
The number one thing to see in Junagadh.

For interested visitors, access to the grounds is free, and the entirety of the mosque is open to all. Wazir Bahaduddinbhai Hasainbhai’s mausoleum, however, is explorable from the outside only, though it is said that keys to the interior can be procured from a keeper from the mosque.

When visiting Gir make a day trip to Junaghad between the early morning and evening safari to see some hidden gems. The two maqbaras are worth the trip. Built in late 1800s they are a blend of architecture Hindu, Muslim and European. If you are interested in architecture and photography then the visit is worth it. Hope the city of Junaghad takes proper care of these two gems and the difference between 2003 and 2014 was their deteriorating state. The flood lights installed then to illuminate them at night are now rusted pieces of metal boxes, plants and grass have started growing on the buildings. Hope they do not collapse. It is worth to take a walk around these two maqbaras to see the cream & green colored lama masjid next to them and Shri Narsinh Vidya mandir school in lime stone. The old city gates are also worth taking a shot. No where else on this planet you will find such maqbaras/mausoleums they are unique and worth maintaining and creating a garden around them so people could enjoy the beauty and their uniqueness. One can read the history, cost etc. etched in stone at the entrance.

The Maqbara is closed but the the intricacies of the structure are really impressive. It is in the old city with the typical entry arches.
Nothing much to speak off as it is a neglected monument.

Right on MG Road of Junagarh there are 4 Attractions in a row - (1) Lal Bakhte Masjid (2) Jumma Masjid (3) Mohabbat Maqbara (4) Mohabbat Maqbara Palace. While the first two are operational and in use the "Maqbara" and "Maqbara Palace" of utmost historical importance are completely neglected. These can become the most attractive tourist points of Junagarh if maintained properly. I am not sure why Central / State Government and local authorities are neglecting such beautiful pieces of Architecture. Mohabbat Maqbara is dated late Nineteenth Century and house the Graves of Nawab Mahabbat Khan II and his family members. Rarely you come across architecture which is mix of Hindu, Islamic and European style. This is one building which has all the 3. You can see the Gothic Columns on both sides of Doors and Windows and you cant miss the French Windows (Floor to Lintel). I would strongly request and appeal that this place is maintained ASAP or it will convert into a ruin.

This place is right in the center of Junagadh.
The artistic jalis and walls give a picturesque views and reminds of the Taj mahal. The govt. has not taken initiatives to preserve and maintain the monument. But the place is very much interesting with lots of carvings, jali, etc..
