An absolute must visit. Most people come here in the evenings and so it tends to get noisy and crowded. For the best experience i'd recommend visiting at sunrise. absolutely surreal. Winter months would be ideal for a trip to this region.

We took the touristy camel ride and loved it so much we paid the camel owner to keep going. We stayed after the sun set and watched the moon and stars come out. Incredible!

What a wonderful experience, something surreal but visually pleasing. Also visit to Kalo Dungar nearby for sunset. Don't forget you will need passport or Aadhaar card as you have to submit to Border Security Force upon entry

we had a very nice visit in March... just after the end of the season. Weather was great and there were no crowds. May 1st, however, could be deadly.
