I think this place is more important to any Christian.. But if you see as a third person , it's a classic place with fine architecture design.... And the mummy of st. Xavier stored is preserved nicely..

There is a great history to this place and it was fascinating to listen to the stories. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail and charged just Rs. 100.

The body of Francis Xavier is kept in this church....It's a must place to visit in Goa.Once every 10 years they are put on public display they move the body from one church to another...

Goa is a beautiful place and famous for its beaches, food and Fenni (Local Alcohol). Tomb of St.Francis Xavier has the body of St.Francis Xavier. It is taken out once in a year.
