One of the oldest churches in Goa, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is one of the most prominent landmarks of Panaji. The steps lead up to the prayer hall where many Bollywood movies have been shot. The best time to visit is at night when this place looks more stunning.

If you are in Panjim, during the night please do make it a point to visit the church square. The church will not be open but it sure is a beautiful sight against the dark night. We accidentally came across this while walking post dinner at the Ritz Classic.

This church cannot be missed on a visit to Panjim. It is a beautiful structure right in the middle of the city on a hill which can be reached by climbing up a series of steps built in a unique way. The church looks even more beautiful when lit up at night. We were there for Easter both in 2015... More

Also known as 'White Church', this church attracts tourist for its typical structure with criss-cross approach stairs. The structure looks gorgeous from the street in front. This is one of the oldest church in Goa & one of the iconic place for Panaji town. Situated at the heart of the town, it is very much walkable from the riverfront. The... More

I loved our visit to this church. It is perfect! The do not allow visitors during service hours and are very strict about that. We are not Christians and had to wait 45 minutes to enter. But it was totally worth it, especially because it was a must visit on our trip to Panjim.

The only reason we went to this Church is because it was featured in a famous Bollywood movie "Josh". The trip was worth it as the structure looks better than shown in the movie. Impressive white colour structure with steps to climb on both the sides of the church. I will surely recommend to visit this church, only if you... More
