My 12 year old son and I dove daily with Roatan divers for a week and both of us completed the advanced open water certification here. We couldn't ask for a better experience. The instructors and captains are wonderful. Throughout our trip we had the oppertunity to dive with many different instructors and all of them are professional, knowledgeable, engaged, and caring. We learned so much and whenever we stumbled along the way someone was there with a helping hand. The diving group size is small and intimate. The operations are air tight. The vibe of Roatan divers is relaxed, friendly and comfortable, you're on vacation after all. At the same time, their operations are like clockwork heading out to the nearby reef on time with everything prepped and nothing left behind. Boat rides last only around 10 minutes or so and you're back at the shop after your first dive, eating your amazing pre-ordered bagel from Sandy Buns bakery in a flash. This is a day that I would happily repeat for years, it's no wonder so many of their dive masters in training are coming back to stay. The whole trip was a blast, enhanced by the fact that all of the instructors love the reef, the wildlife and enjoy what their doing and it shows. Thanks so much for being our guides to the lovely Roatan and a special thanks to Martin, Molly, Yiyi, Jen, and the rest of the instructors for taking such good care of us underwater and finding all the tiny lettuce slugs, baby octopus, large octopus, flamingo tongues, moray eels, eagle rays, dolphins and turtles 🍻❤️🤿

First time to dive in Roatan—chose them by reviews. Comfortable place to be, right on the water—the boat leaves from the shop and comes back for surface interval. If they take orders for sandy buns (eatery) to be delivered after first dive, get the cinnamon roll. Makes Cinnabon look like a joke. How have I lived so long without Sandy Buns? Martin and Tyson juggled differing levels of experience and everyone saw cool stuff. Side note: when I arrived my watch was dead—I thought it was just sleeping, but maybe I should have given it a shake? But there is a Mares store right around the corner that changed battery and seal on my Smart for $11. I heard a Cressi store mentioned, as well. I came from a cruise ship, and allowed the shop to arrange transportation. They use Julio Bodden of the famous Bodden name… Reliable, so comfortable. If you have friends that do not dive and want to come from the cruise ship, Julio will know places that they can go… Also there are beach Front restaurants and shops your friends can check out around Roatan Divers. Beautiful equipment, beautiful boat. Very professional. SAFE. Don’t hesitate to dive with them. I will definitely be back ;-)

Another amazing week in the water with Roatan Divers. This is a top-notch operation that really goes out of their way to make you part of their family while you are with them. My daughter got certified with Roatan Divers on this trip and Jen made her feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Thanks for a great trip to the team. See you in January!

Oh, Brad! We get so excited when we see familiar faces walking through our door; it means what we are doing is working. Thanks so much for bringing Hadley along with you this trip, and letting us share our passion for the vast underwater world with her. She is an exceptional diver, and we can't wait to see where your diving adventures take you. Looking forward to blowing bubbles with you again in the New Year.

I've been diving for many years but I was a little out of practice this time. (It was about 5 years since my last dive.) Our dive-master was Ralph (from Switzerland), He was awesome. Everyone at Roatan Divers was great and they made everything easy and safe. We couldn't be more pleased. As we spoke with other divers on Roatan, it seems that they all spoke very highly of Roatan Divers. They're out behind the main street in the West End and a tiny bit hard to find but well worth it. Finally, if you're not staying the West End, you'll need to scout out some parking before you go. Or take a taxi.

Great dive shop. They provide all the gear if you choose, I brought my own gear, and they had it on the boat with weight strapped to the tank before I arrived 30+ minutes before departure, all I had to do was sign for nitrox level. After the dive, they take everything apart, clean it, and store it All you have to do is enjoy your dive!

Thank you for your superb review, Andy! It means so much when our divers notice the little details of our operation; they all add up to provide you with a full concierge diving experience. The only thing we can't do for you is breathe! ;) Thanks for a wonderful few days; we hope to dive with you again in the future.
