Just chill with a cold one in your hand while you wait for your arrivals or have one last call with friends before they hit the road. Larry & Luey's is the first place to welcome you or the last place to say goodbye, until next time, in paradise!

Every year we leave we have one last goodbye drink. Drinks are strong and very affordable for an airport. We had turkey and cheese sandwich which was not to bad. Make sure you stop and relive your trip.

So you just landed on Roatan. The flight was choppy or you're waiting for your transportation, well, thank the Lord for Larry and Luey's Fly High Bar. Just outside of the baggage claim doors, in the lobby of the airport, there are usually some seats available. The drinks are very good and the owners are very personable. A great place to decompress after flying, or to have a good-bye drink to Roatan when leaving.

Have a seat listen to some good music but whatever you do don’t order anything to eat or drink. The drinks were hot and food was horrible.I mean it’s just a small bar in the airport I didn’t expect the food to be great but it wasn’t even ok . I informed the staff of the bad food I was just ignored

My husband was ordering and while my child and waited at a table. Another member of our party was coming too. We were told to move because a staff member wanted other people to sit there. I asked what gave them more of right than us if we weee making purchases and that just shrugged their shoulders. It was very rude. Had we been asked and shown an empty table four rather than the 4 people being given our table.

Saturday is the big arrival and departure day at RTB. There is no place better to start or end a vacation than chatting with either Larry, or Luey, or both while in the airport terminal. They can be found at the right end of the bar itself. There is usually a small group of travelers including the likes of Doctors Without Borders, Business People visiting the island, Friends, and of course a microcasm of Locals and Vacationers. The conversations covers the latest in island happenings. The brothers themselves are island born and raised. They were on Roatan at the beginning of it all. For instance, they and two friends cut the machete trail that became the dirt road, that becam the paved road, and recently the concrete road to West Bay Beach. They are true island entrepreneurs who know and like the people, just as the people like them.
You can't beat their welcome anywhere. One thing, don't get to comfortable, as you might miss your plane on departure. We almost did. Larry and Luey's, even though it is in the terminal, rates as a stop by itself.

Such a neat place!! The airport tiki bar definitely gives off an island feel that vacationers crave! The brothers Larry and Luey are even at the bar most of the time just relaxing and hanging out. I don't drink, but my friends claim that the beverages are amazing! They also have snacks and other foods if you are looking for a quick bite to eat! Even though there are lots of customers, the service is fast and the staff is friendly! From what I am told, the bar is so popular that actual residents of the island will go there just to chill out! I can certainly see why!

When flying into and out of Roatan airport - stop at Larry and Lueys Fly High Bar. Cool little joint to start and end your vacation. Lots of locals come to the airport to visit. Perfect place to enjoy your wait for flight. My Wife and I had to grab a beer when we got off the plane and wound up staying for many talking to the local patrons. When we left Roatan - we intentionally arrived at the airport early to gather back with the people we met. Highly recommended.

Whether you’re waiting on your flight to depart or just got to the island, L&L has a drink and a snack ready. Good Bloody Mary and frozen papaya margaritas. Slice of pizza or sandwiches are always good. You can spot the guys usually at the end of the bar. Always a stop for us on our way out.
