When we arrived the owner (I assume) said she was just going to the bank and would only be 15 minutes. finally came back about 35-40 minutes later. Obviously not too worried about customers. Once we got in it was a bit of a let down. Heard great reviews but does not live up to those. There is some interesting... More

I have traveled all over the world and have had quite a few Pareos, but nothing compares to these. The quality is fantastic and the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. I suggest you go for the rayon 2 meter ones ($25 apiece). The silk screening and designs are just spectacular. Many people had reserved some of the pareos,... More

There are many small shops on Moorea selling paroes, but La Maison Blanche is filled with a plethora of colors , designs, and materials that delights the senses and purses. Many are locally made and hand painted . If you are looking for the unique, you will not be disappointed. Cash is given a discount. Even if you aren't buying,... More

It is the best place to buy clothes in Maharepa, Moorea. The town itself is very small. The woman who runs this is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can try on clothes in the back of the store.

The owner/manager was friendly, very helpful and no pressure as we figured out our souvenir needs. Good selection of unique and high quality merchandise at a reasonable price. We came back a second day because of how nicely we were treated. The rooster, hens and chicks in the large front yard made it perfect.
