Come discover our beautiful island! Effortlessly cover long distances on our underwater Sea Scooters – a fun and ecologic way to explore the amazing coral gardens. Because we are a shore-based tour, we snorkel slowly to get up close and personal with all the exciting tropical marine life! Unlike crowded commercial tours, we keep our groups small, with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 people, and one professional, certified divemaster per tour. Most incredible and liberating experience ever!!
Mind you, I don’t know how to swim. And yet they have me so comfortable in the water letting go of my fear and swimming with stingray named Bridget, who literally tag along with us in her natural habitat in the reef. Nicolas (instructor and guide) was beyond NICE. He made sure I feel safe and comfortable. He is also very detailed and attentive not just only me but the whole group. There was 7 of us 3 couples and myself, we definitely didn’t know each other and yet at the end we felt like we were friends. Also his pictures he took of us in the water and video is beyond good. Definitely recommend getting it for purchase. Memories lasts for a lifetime.

Great time with Nicolas!! The captain was hilarious! We ended up having a private tour bc the couples that were scheduled with us backed out due to the rain. The other couple got seasick. We got amazing photos and saw turtles, eaglerays, dolphins and there is a friendly stingray that followed us the entire trip. Her name is Beverly!

Nico took us out for a Bob tour with Clara and it was so much fun! The bobs help you cruise through the water while snorkeling so you don't have to swim, huge help! We swam with rays, sharks, and sea turtles. It was absolutely miraculous! We stayed at the Sofitel and each time we popped over to Moorea Water Games the staff was very friendly and always helpful. A must visit!

Wonderfull sea driving experience. We spend a whole afternoon snorkeling under water with kids.
Many fishes to see, corals to explore for yourself solo or in family.
You won't regret it!!!!

I had a wonderful time snorkelling through moorea’s crystal clear lagoon. The scooter really helps your legs from getting tired especially since we snorkelled quite a long distance through the cavernous coral. We saw 8 sea turtles, tropical fish, and 2 sting rays which swam with us through the coral. You get the full face snorkel masks which I have. Also, you’ll be in wetsuits since the water in the morning is a little cool.If you are a solo traveller, you’ll have to reach out to the company directly since minimum is 2 on booking sites. It was an excellent tour with friendly staff.

What a great experience - rays, sharks, clown fish, puffer fish and thousands more - we saw it all. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. The scooters are easy to drive and fantastic fun, really worth the it - it felt like you were flying through canyons !

We stayed at the Intercontinental and booked a Lagoonarium tour for 99,000 francs. It was nice as all the liguistics were taken car of and everything was private. I think it is likely better than a tour through Albert tours although slightly more expensive.
The cab picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry dock where Nico picked us up. He was very nice and brought film gear to make a film of us during the tour which is fun. We bought that for another 60,000 francs I believe.
The Lagoonarium was awesome for seeing lots of fish. It is simply a feeding area on an island off the east coast of Moorea. The feeding person comes and attracts small black tip shars, stingrays, and lots of mullet and other fish. He was great also. He rode the stringrays. There was a eagle ray that came. He has trained a moray eel that he feeds between his legs! Although he did get nicked by the eel.
There is a lot of current but lines to grab onto everywhere. The reef is actually quite nice if you follow the lines outward. Near the end of the lines are some clown fish in anenome.
And to show how great a guy Nico is, he spotted a school of dolphin on the way back to the ferry dock and took extra time to ride with them and us. Wonderful memories in paradise.

Moorea Water Games organised the perfect tour for us which included return transfers to our hotel for $185 USD and a video and photo package sent on an email file transfer link for $70 USD.
If you’re not an early riser, give them a call because they have several departures, including some in the afternoon.
We did a shorter, 90 minute tour which was ample time to see the beautiful marine life off Temae Beach. The tour starts at the Sofitel where Nicolas and Captain Manu explain everything and really look after each guest.
Once in the water, you just follow Nicolas who swims with a rope like device with a flag attached so it’s easy to keep track of where he and the other guests are.
The coral is in great condition and you just have to make sure you don’t touch, knock or step on it as you weave your way through the water.
The sea scooters are simple to operate and make the whole snorkeling experience easier on your body.
The beach near the Sofitel is one of the best on Moorea so you can’t go wrong booking this tour. I felt I was in safe hands the whole time and we both loved what we saw below the surface.

We are so glad we did the scooter tour! Everything is excellent except the weather
Crew
Nicholas is very knowledgeable. Manu is a great captain. They know exactly where to go. Sophie is an awesome taxi driver. She picked us up from hotel and sent us back.
Equipment
They provide everything. We took our own fins and used their wet suit and full face mask - so much better than the traditional 2-piece snorkel set. The scooter is powered by battery so no gas pollution in the ocean. It’s SO easy to use
Tour
1. We swam neat Sofitel to see beautiful coral reef and colorful fish. It’s far enough from shore. Can not imagine how to get there without the scooter. Almost forgot to mention the sting ray. We saw it immediately after getting into water
2. We then went beyond the outer reef in the middle of the ocean, greeted by a group of sharks
3. We then went on a boat ride to the area around Muto Ahi, a family of dolphins were playing in water
Because of the bad weather, we did not go see the turtle. We had a blast anyway.
Nicholas was taking video and photos for the group. We paid to get them emailed to us the next day.
Highly recommend! Two tips
1. Book as soon as you arrive in Moorea. The tour is filled up quickly. We had to wait three days to get our spots
2. Because it’s so spectacular, do it towards the end of your stay so that you will not be disappointed by other activities. But if you can only do one tour, do this one!

Nicholas and Manu took us out on a fantastic under sea adventure. They taught us how to use the sea scooters in the amazing coral reefs along the shore near the Sofitel Moorea La Ora Resort. We used their snorkel masks with our fins. A ray nicked named Bridget escorted us along the coral, I felt like we were following the teacher ray in the movie Finding Nemo. Our captain then took us out into the deeper sea to find dolphins, after that we found a great spot to swim with reef sharks and lemon sharks. We went on to swim with sea turtles and came across an amazing pod of eagle rays. The whole experience was captured with under water photos and a video. There was an extra charge for this but the video was put together well and it is great reminder of a once in a lifetime experience.

You can book the underwater scooter tour directly with us, please contact us with our website "Moorea water games"
The duration of the tour is one hour for the reef adventure and 4 hours for "Moorea dream adventure".
You can use the sea-scooter one hour to one hour and half and the tour is always guided by a dive master.
