Well nobody wanted to go in as it was winter! It was freezing obviously and the other two small lakes were hogged by rather selfish blokes. So I gathered my strength and my courage and went into the lake for a freezing 20 min! Tried to swim it off but after 20 min I felt numb so got out lol... More

The best time to visit the lake is sunset. Take a bike to Fatnas Spring, then enter the garden off the left side of the spring or ask where Imran's garden is. You can go all the way to the lake from there. You sit and relax, take photos, enjoy a lot of Siwa tea of soft drinks. There are... More

You must go & view the sunset from there, it is very relaxing. You just need a driver or a car to take you there if you are staying in the city center. It is also very good for a picnic.

The roads are simple and you will not get lost. There is a little joint that sells tea, fruits, etc. They are quite overpriced. Bring... More
