This is 1 of the attractions in this small oasis. The ruins are quite intact except for some wear and tear but i would suggest to come hee with a guide. if not, you will not be able to appreciate the place without some history...More

It's definitely worth visiting. German archaeologists were working on it for some time now, it should be in a better shape than when I visited the place.

I'm an anthropologist, so any taste of another way of life fascinates me. The Siwan House gives you a chance to see inside a traditional house and all its rooms. Sit on the carpets, imagine life in these spaces. Ask questions.
