I enjoyed my night in riobamba . I like to walk around the churches and plazas I was going to Alasui to get train . Had I known there were lots of hotels not on internet I might I missed Riobamba. Traveling at Xmas holidays...More

Quite an impressive facade that survived the earthquake in 1797. Interier is a modern one. Just on front of it is small park for relaxing

Behind the Catedral is a Convent Museum that was excellent. Guide in Spanish. Lots of information about what life was like for the early nuns. Beautiful artwork and relics. Free.

It is a striking building with impressive edifice. The ambiance outside is pretty, and is a calm haven where you can relax and sip green coconut water.

A tiny historic gem. An earthquake destroyed part of it years back but the locals put it back together with an indigenous look to the exterior faces of angels.
