Very reliable company to plan a tour in Ecuador. Wladymir and his team have been very helpful to organize a customized climb of Chimborazo.

My wife and I had an unforgettable time at Sani Lodge and Yasuni National Park! The trip started from the city of Coca where a guide greeted us at the airport and took us to board a river boat. From there it was a scenic three hour motorized boat ride down the Napo River to the docs where we got into Canoes for a short trip to the lagoon at Sani Lodge where we stayed in the Amazon Jungle for five nights. Every day was packed full of adventures. These included exploring the lagoon and surrounding jungle from a canoe, day and night hikes, wildlife viewing from a 35 meter tall beautiful huge sable tree platform in the middle of the jungle, exploring Yasuni National Park including a visit to the famous “saladeros”, or claylicks from river boat. We also had a Sani community visit where we were served maito, chicha de yuka, chontacuro, palmito, platano maduro, guayusa, cacao, and cafe right off the tree. It was great to meet "las mamitas" from the community and have the opportunity to purchase arts and crafts as well. You certainly don't go hungry at Sani lodge, the food is wonderful, you have fresh squeezed juice at least twice a day, the service is great, our cabin was clean and had a nice view of the lagoon. I slept better than ever with the sounds of the jungle, no city noise, or artificial light to wake you. My wife and I were a group of two and we're always escorted by two guides in the jungle, Gustavo and Jose. They were energetic and knowledgeable and certainly added to the whole experience. The amount of biodiversity is incredible. We saw six different species of monkeys, countless types of birds/parrots, reptiles (including an anaconda and caiman) and amphibians, insects, flowers, lots of medicinal plants/trees and fruit, giant paiche, and even fished piranhas. Gustavo and Jose knew about everything in the jungle and the names in both Spanish and English. This was a once in a lifetime trip and I highly recommend it. Thank you Ecoadventure for organizing our trip!

Acclimatisation is essential before attempting to climb Chimborazo, something that Wlady was incredibly knowledgeable about and helpful in ensuring I had made all necessary preparations beforehand. The self-guided trek to El Altar at the beginning of the wet was almost entirely along a muddy track, however the effort was well-rewarded once I reached Laguna Amarilla which offers spectacular views. Gradually ascending and spending a night at Paradero Chakana continued the acclimatisation process, and the next day I was met by Fausto, my guide with 28 years climbing experience who was equally friendly and professional as Wlady. During our ascension of Chimborazo, in the dark Fausto was able to recognise that a section of ice was unsuitable and dangerous for climbing and so created a new path which helped ensure my safe and successful summit attempt at dawn the following morning. Though mountaineering is a dangerous activity and all risks should be considered before embarking upon a climb, I had absolute confidence in the staff at Ecuador Eco Adventure from start to finish keeping me safe and providing a thoroughly rewarding experience.

Excellent adventure and great customer service. Our guide Manuel was professional and caring The support staff put together a trip with very little notice and continued to help us even after our adventure was over with a hostel room and a ride to the bus station. Thank you Manuel, Wlady and Jessica for such great customer service and for showing us the beauty of Ecuador and its people
