Apparently the biggest market in this part of Ecuador, full of weavings, leather, crafts and the usual "stuff" of all markets. The indigenous people are skilled, dressed in their traditional clothing and very friendlyMore

A typical market environment. The vendors are nice and not overly pushy. If your interested and let them know you need to haggle the price ,but act like your walking away and you usually get it a buck or two cheaper. I'm not much for...More

This is a famous crafts market in Otavalo, but we were a bit disappointed. Quite touristic and unless you really want to buy something of alpaca, you could also skip it.More

We went to the market only because it's "the thing to do", and it was about what we expected it to be: the same goods over and over and over, all mass produced. We did buy a few things, and you need to haggle your...More

I think that in one day you can visit Otavalo. Include the artesanal MArket, San Pablo Lake and maybe Catacachi market.
