Parque samanes, wrong name , its not a parque really
Oct 2018 • Solo
THis place is fare away from the center of Guayaquil and acording to me feeling it was a big mistake from our last goverment.it is a very large aerea but basicly with a lot of football areas for amateurs and peolpe who like to play.trhere are also some publicbuildings inside( ministery of ambiet for example) but the total area looks solitary and nothing to do with a real parque. Going there is loosing the time.

Hello friends! Today I will recommend the Samanes park located north of Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The park of Samanes is known as the Ecological Park or the Biggest park in South America, It is beautiful and huge, probably you do not have enough energy to walk it on a first visit. Here you can come with the whole family, friends or even to play a sport.

There are tennis, football, basketball COURTS AND FIELDS, a stadium and an acoustic cone where they offer concerts, you can rent bicycles, there are mini parks for children with slides and swings, you can take boat rides, this park has a food court. You can do picnics and bring your own food. It is a very recommended place to spend an afternoon with family.

Now there is a bridge that connects to both sides of the street, for a safe and fun experience.

My review of Parque Samanes (Senderos)
Feb 2017 • Solo
The Park is part of the Área Nacional de Recreación Samanes. This is much neglected, probably due to the lack of resources of Inmobiliar, the public company that manages. Now the forest area, despite this, is very beautiful: lots of vegetation and birds, is a great place for bird watching. The cycle route is super cool. They are 7 kilometers in the forest with elevations. Very early people arrive with their bikes but can also be rented for $ 4. These bikes are not the best and they even have some changes to disable them, but they are also suitable for bicycling. There you can find the Rocodromo and Zipline.

Review of Parque Los Samanes
Feb 2017 • Family
A very nice place is “EL PARQUE LOS SAMANES” where I do different activities such as canopy, climbing “ROCODROMO”, bicycling, play basketball, volleyball, football and tennis, this place is visited by many people that look for make different things, the service and cost about extreme sports are excellent, but I can´t say the same about the other sports because you have to wait long time making long rows to borrow a court, or when they assigned you the court, some people don´t leave at time so they take your time. I think that if you want borrow that court you should arrive early, in this way you will avoid make long rows and you will have more time to play.

Sportsman park
Jun 2017 • Friends
It is a park located in the city of Guayaquil , between Francisco de Orellana Avenue and the Narcisa de Jesús Highway in the north. It is a very large and beautiful park, it has 57 sports fields to practice various sports, as well as a soccer stadium named in honor of the Ecuadorian footballer Christian Benítez and a multi-sport building divided into two blocks in which are located a coliseum and a gym. It has cycle paths, jogging tracks, children's play areas and camping areas. It is an ideal park for sports people, the best of everything that is free and you only need the cedula to rent a sports court. A while ago I had the opportunity to go with my friends and I had a great time. I recommend you go and enjoy this incredible place.

"Picnic in the Samanes Park"
May 2017 • Friends
The Park is located in the North of the city of Guayaquil, has an area of 851 hectares, making it the third largest park in Latin America, in this park can do sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, cycling, volleyball, canopying, scale, and many more. Also has track for jogging or on skates, even has a stadium within it and also food court where you can find food typical at affordable prices from $3 to $10. It has clean bathrooms and parking is $1 all day. The Samanes park has a lake on which you can ride a boat for $3.50 per couple and takes 30 minutes . It has also an area for picnics, where there are a few large tables and some tall trees which give plenty of shade and breeze. A few weeks ago I went with my friends and everyone brought food and drinks to have lunch in the park, the soft grass and tranquility that you feel there, with makes it a good place to go with family or friends and have a good time. We were there from 1 pm until 6 pm and noticed that the Park has security on weekends there are free events which attracts many visitors.
We went home happy for so much fun in one day.

Acoustic Shell and Canoping in Samanes Park
Dec 2016 • Family
This park located in the north of Guayaquil in Samanes, it is said that the park will be one of the three largest parks in Latin America. Part of this park is the Forest Reserve Senderos Park area of Samanes inside this reserve you can find a climbing wall and canopy towers, a good choice for practicing extreme sports inside the city.

I recommend you to visit the acoustic shell that is inside the park, on weekends, especially in November the music month, that are performances from symphonies to national music artists, it has a wide esplanade, a relaxed atmosphere and good sound.

If you want to practice soccer, handball, tennis, basketball, volleyball among other sports, the best option is visit this park which has a large number of fields for all this type of sports and all free.
