GARZA ROJA
May 2017 • Family
This place located in Guayaquil-Nobol, Km 37-2, The entrance cost $ 2.50 for adults and 1.50 children and students from Monday to Friday but on weekends and holidays the entrance cost $ 5.00 adults and $ 2.50 children. This great place opens its doors from 8 am until 5 pm.
This resort offers water games for children and adults, children's games, museums, basketball courts and basketball courts and restaurants offering traditional dishes from the Canton Nobol, without missing the delicious humitas, ripe with cheese, tortillas of corn and green.

The best of this place has a cultural atmosphere with statues, relics and everything is built of wood. ALSO IT offers you free parking and clean bathrooms, showers and dressing rooms. I visited this place on this holiday, at this time the resort offers other activities such as animation, competitions of pool, dancing, sportin which they give prizes, free passes, bonuses in food and others. For children offers painted faces, rides, mechanical games and ride a horse.

This is a wonderful place. I suggest you visit it because you find fun and many activities to do with your family or friends.

Undiscovered Great Place
Jan 2017
Luckily, this park kept coming up in our Facebook feed. We decided to take some friends and visit this place on a Friday. The park cost $2.50 to get in per person. Very economic.

The park was clean, well maintained. No lifeguards, swim and use the slides at your own risk. There is a restaurant, and they sell snacks, and drinks, along with meal service (at certain times of the day). There are bathrooms, and they are even stocked with free toilet paper (very rare in this country).

The slides are fast. Pools are deep. There are great statues, and a wonderful museum.

Highly recommended.

Art, countryside, water and relax in one place.
May 2016 • Couples
Garza roja is located 1 hour from Guayaquil, just after Nobol (if you are Catholic you can go to Nobol to see Santa Narcisa de Jesús and eat a ripe banana ... seriously).
In Garza roja you can go to the Phi Museum, which is a private investment with a strange collection of art and sculptural toys that will surprise you.
They also have a very interesting engraving museum and workshops of various artists that work in residence there.
Next to the museums there are huge swimming pools with slides (for the children there is a slide that goes directly from the interior of Phi Museum to the gardens).
You can eat there typical Ecuadorian food for good prices (4-8 USD p/p) and enjoy the marvelous pier next to the Babahoyo River, just where it was the home of Emilio Estrada (a former president).
I recommend going during the week, *not during the weekend*, because from Friday to Sunday there are thousands of people and if you are out for a walk and you want peace of mind that can annoy you.
Recommendations:
Patience to get there, is about an hour away & take mosquito repellent, cash, swim suit with you.

Club Park "Garzas Rojas" is located in Nobol, Via Daule, Guayaquil.
This club is a place where you can enjoy the nature, culture and customs of the countryside, because it has a beautiful pier, where you can observe the Guayas river, it has a museum where you will find statues and pictures about ancient civilization, also has cabins, convention room, restaurant, swimming pools, slides, canoe trips and more. They have typical foods such as seco de pollo, chuleta, pollo al horno, among others, the price varies from $ 4.50 to $ 5.50 per plate. Children enjoy this place for the variety of entertainments and fun. The price to enter this Club is 3 dollars per person, and children 2 dollars. The "Garzas Rojas" Club is ideal for families, couples, and I consider that they will not be disappointed by this Club because it is economical and fun.

It is a tourist center located in Nobol: Km. 37 via Daule. In this place, there are several pools with a particular design, furthermore I enjoyed the art, the nature and the gastronomy of the place; If you want to relax you must visit the beautiful landscapes; when you go to visit this amazing place you will find springs where you can see The "RIO DAULE", even you can visit the PHI Museum is very amazing because you can learn about the Ecuadorian culture also there are sports fields of soccer, volleyball and basketball. Many People enjoy the ride on horseback because they consider it a nice hobby, the ride has a price the of $ 2.00 where you can choose to ride on a “chiva” and horse. I recommend visiting this place because it is very nice and its cost is affordable ($ 2.50). It`s a relaxing place and you can stay with your family - friends - work friends.

The complex "Garza Roja" is located in Km. 37 Via a Daule, after Nobol. To reach the pool area you have to go a long way, if you don't have a car you can reach it in tricycles. The cost is $ 4 per person, from Monday to Thursday there is promotion and the cost of the entrance is $ 2.50. The Garza Roja Park has an aquatic recreational area, and a philosophical museum, the complex has indor fields, soccer, tennis, squash, basketball, etc. there are several places where you can enjoy good music and variety of typical dishes.
Several months ago I went for a second time with my family and I could see the improvement of the place, the slides are in perfect condition and they all work just like the pools. There are swimming pools for children and adults with different shapes and slides of different sizes.
