Many sailors chartering a boat are looking for boat ages to decide for a charter company.
But a boat’s age isn’t the right scale to be on the save side.
Most important is, how the boats are serviced.
I’m a fan of Dalmatia Charter since years now. I’m sailing same boats during a long period. The boat quality is stable or increased over the years. You see the maintenance efforts Mr Buble and his team spends in this boats, to make them even better by age.
Second important is the trust into and support from the base team.
The base team is totally committed to deliver the best vacation experience you can expect. This starts by the booking, if you have special requirements. I by myself like to have a very long landline on board. The team is doing its best.
Handover of the boat at the beginning is great. You can ask whatever you want and you get the help you need. Even your first difficult sailing activity, “leaving the birth” is well supported.
During sailing you get hints about your energy management, so that you are warned if your battery is going to be weak.
Even in difficult situations, you get the support you need, that you are able tho spend your most valuable time with enjoying sailing instead of worrying about issues. Thanks Mr. Buble.
The handover at the end, including the “special tank service” is absolutely fair and sorrow-less.
Third. It’s the location of the base.
I know Croatia from the Top North to the South. My best starting point is Trogir. Full stop.
Shortest connection to an airport. Great City of Trogir. Sailing options to go northbound to the island of Losinj, visiting many other islands or the Krka waterfalls. Or southbound to Dubrovnik and other famous places like Hvar or Kordula.
In total I would always recommend Dalmatia Charter.

Many thanks to Dalmatia Charter for their friendliness, professionalism and availability throughout. We arrived on Trogir on a Friday and although our boat was only as of Saturday afternoon, we could already fill in all the documents a day before and Dalmatia offered to text us as soon as the boat was ready on Saturday. We ended up having our boat ready much earlier. The boat '(Bavaria 36) was in top condition and fully equipped, including solar panel, which really made a difference when you sail for 2 weeks.
Both on the arrival and departure day, we received a gift, which was also very nice.
Last but not least, we hardly queued to take reception and give back the yacht (which didn't seem to be the case for the other companies next to Dalmatia, with people queuing for hours).
Check out was super smooth. Dalmatia team comes on your boat for fuel and parking.
The quality of the services and the top condition of the boat really contributed to making our 2 weeks sailing an amazing trip, which our family will not forget. Thanks!

We really enjoyed two week of sailing from Dalmatia Charter company. Yachts was in the top of condition with additional device - soral panel, which was very comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional and the base manager is very skillful sailor. We are looking forward to sail again next year

Dalmatia crew was excellent. Communication before the trip was precise and replies to all email were very fast. Arrival procedures were quick and easy. Boat was in very good shape. Only one thing: Other water tank was not fully refilled. Fortunately we found that on our first stop. Boat functioned whole week without any problems. On arrival Dalmatia crew boarded the boat and took care of refueling which was nice. We did not have to deal with hassle of the fueling station. Whole experience was very nice with Dalmatia charter

I have been traveling with Dalmatia Chrter for more than 10 years. Before that, I tried smaller and larger companies in other ports. The only reason for changing society would be not to go to Croatia. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. The boats are in good condition and the services are clearly above standard.

The stay always goes smoothly. The ships are excellently maintained. The refueling service at the end of the charter is always an experience. You don't have to queue up behind everyone else and can relax and enjoy the end of the trip.

After 19 years of changing charter companies, I finally discovered Dalmatia charter. A company where everything works, people are welcoming, polite and helpful. Problems, if they arise, are solved without unnecessary delay. In my opinion, it is currently the best charter company in Croatia.

We chartered a 33 foot Bavaria from Dalmatia Charter last April. Setting up the charter was easy and providing satisfactory qualifications was easy, as well, especially because the staff speaks very good English. The boat was fairly new, I’m not sure what year, and in excellent condition, a very well maintained boat. Everything you need is provided except the food, which can be acquired from a nice supermarket a comfortable walk from the marina. We sailed for a week, changing locations everyday. We found the boat to be very reliable and easy to sail. Upon our return, Dalmatia staff helped tie the boat up at the fuel dock, then moved it to its slip location. They carefully examined the boat and asked questions about the performance to ensure any issues would be taken care for the next customer. We had no issues with our rental. One of the main reasons I chose Dalmatia was that they had the smaller boat size I was looking for, because of the lower price and ease of handling. I’m glad I chose them because I believe I could not have gotten a better boat or better service anywhere else.
I hope to return to Croatia in a year or two and will definitely use Dalmatia again.

We chartered a 33 foot Bavaria for a week. We do this most years in different places, but Dalmatia Charter were by far the best, most efficient company we've dealt with. The boat was so well looked after, with every practical adaptation, the reception and check-in / check-out process was superb: friendly, efficient and the staff couldn't do more for us.
Best of all, on our return, three crew members jumped aboard, helped us skip the queue for re-fuelling and moored the yacht in a very crowded marina - cutting the usual 2-3 hour wait to return the boat to less than 20 minutes!
Would definitely use them again, Oh, and the Dalmatian coast of Croatia is without doubt one of the world's best sailing destinations. What are you waiting for?

We are more than satifatied with the boat and the service we got from "Dalmatia Charter". The boat was in excellent condition. A very pofessional and friendly skipper. Everyone had a fantastic time! We will be back.
