To us, this was the main site within Trogir town centre

We were not able to arrive at Trogir on 12 Nov (Sat) due to snow, strong wind along A1 expressway which was closed in the evening eventually. Thus, we were thankful that we finally got to see the Cathedral St Lawrence in Trogir on 13 Nov which happened to be a Sunday. We attended mass. The only unfortunate thing was... More

One of the most beautiful cathedrals I've seen. The entrance fee allows you to go up the tower from where you will have a spectacular view. Very worth it!

This a lovely place to visit, we were the only people in when we visited. Make sure you also buy a ticket go up the Bell tower. The staircase up to the top is a bit hairy but the fantastic views from the top make it all worthwhile.

It is though still well worth a visit. Our guide gave us the full information and history of the church and its... More

13th century, after the old cathedral had been ruined in the Venetian destruction of the city in 1171.

This is most probably the jewel ion Trogir. What you can see from the outside is already magnificent, but the art work and collections inside are even much better. A definite must see.

We'd been in Trogir for 5 days before we decided to spend the $4 (approx.) to go in the cathedral. The stonework around the door and the treasury were fascinating. The climb to the belltower was also a must-do, but only one of us attempted it. If you have any fear of heights it is probably better to sit in... More

Pay the small amount and view the inside of the cathedral, then do the stairs on the way out of the church to the bell tower. We went on a rainy morning and it was a little wet and slippery, but it was worth the trek. No one was up there and it had the best views of the island... More
