This impressive Roman Catholic triple-naved Venetian Cathedral built in Romanesque-Gothic style and, the grand Radovan's Portal are the most remarkable landmarks in the city. The construction lasted several centuries. The cathedral, called St. John among locals, is the highest and most distinctive building in Trogir. The belfry was built in three different styles during almost four centuries. Trogir’s most prominent... More

I have many times been in this church, but a few days ago was a unique opportunity. The church kept Christmas concert. Trogir orchestra music and traditional singing groups. Beautiful and memorable.

Thus, we were thankful that we finally got to see the Cathedral St Lawrence in Trogir on 13 Nov which happened to be a Sunday. We attended mass. The only unfortunate thing was... More

One of the most beautiful cathedrals I've seen. The entrance fee allows you to go up the tower from where you will have a spectacular view. Very worth it!

This a lovely place to visit, we were the only people in when we visited. Make sure you also buy a ticket go up the Bell tower. The staircase up to the top is a bit hairy but the fantastic views from the top make it all worthwhile.

It is though still well worth a visit. Our guide gave us the full information and history of the church and its... More

This is most probably the jewel ion Trogir. What you can see from the outside is already magnificent, but the art work and collections inside are even much better. A definite must see.
