You can only walk along the streets and appreciate the views that are astonishing (particularly at sunset), or shop for truffle, olive oil, local trinkets; or have a great meal at any of the restaurants. If you want you can even take a swim. The town is friendly and easy to walk (watch out of the old stone cobblers because... More

Really excited for visiting this pearl in Croatia - Rovinj city (it has been us suggested). Any place is beautiful there! Interesting that all cost where the city borders with sea was smelling like a fish ;) Have done lots of photos. Have walked lots of kilometers all possible places around. Very beautiful central place of the city near to... More

It is just wonderful to wander the cobbled streets with wide selection of bars, gift shops and restaurants. One particular favourite was a bar occupying the steps up to St Euphemia church with comfortable cushions and plants arranged to make it welcoming.

Very worth the stay here. Touristy but historic and beautiful. We were here mid October and the skies were blue, sunny and warm. Peaceful and spectacular, romantic town.

We were very fortunate to be staying at Hotel Adriatic on 11 Nov 2016, thus we saw this old town both days, except that there was heavy rain on 11 Nov, thus we only toured Rovinj proper on 12 Nov. We were captivated by its beauty. Highly recommend tourists planning to visit Istria to make a night stop at Hotel... More

The old town of Rovinj is one of the best places to visit in Istria. The narrow streets with shops, restaurants and cafes provide a very relaxing atmosphere and transport you back to old times, far away from the hustle and bustle of modern cities. Highly recommended!

We spent an afternoon in the Old Town of Rovinj while visiting Croatia. We really enjoyed walking the Old Town and its quaint streets. We walked up to the church for a great vantage point of the entire area. We then walked down several streets to absorb their charm. We ate lunch in one of the small restaurants near the... More

Rovinj was one of our favorite towns out of the twelve we stay in on our vacation. Walking the streets of the old town is amazing down the different alleyways and then up to the church with the great views. A great place to wander with beautiful buildings and that old world charm.

Everything is closed, cold and blustery, indifferent service overall. If you're stuck for a place to eat, try Veli Joge for a hearty meal And fun environment. Then head south.
