Loved Rovinj. It is a small beautiful old town set on a small peninsula. The town is quite small and easy to navigate - with a large church at the top of the hill. Around the edges of the town are lots of small bars and restaurants and plenty of swimming and diving spots. Walk around the cobbled streets and... More

The old city if Rovinj is a must visit place, with its old small streets and old buildings, very pitoresque. We always love to visit this kind of places.

It was Romantic with nice views and lovely shops. We had a really nice time! It really pays off to get to the top of the town, especially for the view and the nice church.

Loved wondering around the old town, gets very busy in the evenings and the bars are packed, but there is a good atmosphere.

Town is small enough to walk round with lots of harbour cafes and bars. Market is everyday and relatively cheap. Little traffic to be of concern

What is not to like about this quaint little piece of Venetian history. To me possibly the best old town in Croatia it oozes charm. The beautiful cobbled streets, the arches and gateways and the beautiful streets lined with old building still lived in by the locals is just incredible. The port is cool as are the fishing fleet but... More

Narrow and twisting cobbled streets wind their way through original old-stoned buildings. Not very busy considering it was the height of summer. Hard to find a parking spot close and the attractions were poorly signposted which led to many incorrect turns!

We stayed at Resort Amarin so got the taxi boat to Rovinj a couple of times during our stay. The old town is beautiful with lots of lovely restaurants. There are lots of little streets with shops selling local gifts.

We rented a charming apartment above the green market with sea views and breezes. The market, fish mongers and butchers were outside our door as were the busy restaurants and square. The restaurants and bars are plentiful, some with incredible views. We were in Croatia for a month and Rovinj stole our heart. Despite being crowded and touristic is has... More
