A fantastic place to wander around and explore. Each side street has a different group of small shops or restaurants to visit. Beautiful, picturesque and a must see.

Wow, Rovinj is amazing, really beautiful and the old fashioned cobble stones are great, so shiny but so slippy even when dry. Small streets, its a bit like a maze but you eventually reach the main street. whist I was there they had in the main square different bands, different groups singing and single singers it was great bars all... Beautiful old town, lovely church at the top but wear walking shoes as its really slippery. Plenty of good restaurants and places to look at. Market each day, lots of hidden shops and cafés. Boats galore. Italian influence, reminded me of Lake Garda.

Pretty well unspoilt, an UNESCO site, great for photos. Very uneven and large cobblestones, avoid going up the hill if they are wet.

The old town streets are so narrow only one car can go up although it is only allowed for deliveries. No parking for residents only scooters or mopeds allowed. The roads are made of marble and steep so very slippy if there is a shower. Little alleyways were you will find artists galleries hidden. Restaurants cafe bars were you don't... More

A beautiful old town located on a small peninsula. Very well preserved city walls and houses and palaces. At the very top of the church of St. Euphemia whose high tower with a statue of saint seen from afar. The view is also beautiful, and during walking the narrow streets and alleys have the impression that you're back a few... More

This is lovely medieval town with cobbled streets and lots of quaint little shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. It takes one back in time when exploring the little streets and alleys. Well worth an afternoon's stroll

We arrived for our three-day stay at about 2:00 in the afternoon. My first reaction was not positive. It was crowded with people from cruise ships. After sunset and before 10:00 in the morning, Rovinj is just delightful. We fell in love with it and managed to take excursions out of town during the day when the cruise folks were... More
