The town is quite beautiful and charming. Everywhere you look is as pretty as a picture. Almost everything is closed in the winter, but I would imagine it gets crowded during the peak season.

Old Town Rovinj was only a short boat ride away from our Island Hotel Katerina (which I would also highly recommend by the way!) and we visited a couple of times. Cute cobbled streets to wander around and AMAZING views over the sea and surrounding little islands the higher you get. Plenty of restaurants and bars to stop at for... More

Such a pretty place. Could stay here for weeks. Interesting old town but it's the view and harbour walk that makes you happy just to hang around.

We stayed across the harbour from the old town with wonderful views, but the hotel is due for demolition to be replaced with a 5 star hotel. As we couldn't rebook for 2017, we decided to book another hotel within the group a bit further out. The town has many lovely bars and restaurants, with quirky places that have seats... More

As read in most forums, the old town of Rovinj is a MUST to be seen. Nice town, with narrow streets, charming houses and nice Church from where you see the sea.

Very nice and small city. Lots of cafes and narrow streets. It has its special climate. I was really impressed - didn't know that Croatia is so beautiful

The heart of an adorably charming town without tourist overload. Rovinj was by far our favorite town in Croatia. Everything in Old Town is picturesque of what you want in a small beach town. Felt a lot like great little beach villages in Italy.

Nice and impressive middle ages city with narrow streets and feelings from the past. Very nice view to Rovinj city and surroundings from above from the top of old city There are sight seeing place and platform to see surroundings from above. No dislikes, liked everything.

Beautiful old town area with cobblestone streets. Full of colour and interest even in the off season with still some restaurants and souvenir places open. Friendly locals, great bakeries, rustic sea areas. An instant favourite!

Wonderful place, deffinitely my favourite town on Istrian map in Croatia. Tiny, cosy streets with plenty of craft & souvenirs shops, colourful, amazing. Magical old town, and the whole town as well with some nice restaurants. Worth visiting, spending some time to walk around and relax. Must visit, must see! I truly LOVE IT!
