You can spend hours and indeed days milling around and stopping for lunch or snacks or a drink and then perhaps viewing the unusual offerings of independent shops and studios operated by artists - including painters, photographers, sculptors, jewellery and clothing - in the quaint cobbled streets which lead to the church which majestically overlooks the entire area. A great... More

A beautiful old town with lots of cobbled streets leading up to the church. Its full of little boutiques and restaurants and you'll find a new street to walk down each time you go.

Istria. This is a place No one coming to Croatia should miss. We drove over from Zagreb and it was truly breathtaking. The road is great and scenic but we really fell in love when we saw Rovinj. Please know parking is very limited I'm Rovinj so you may not be able to just drive right in. Usually someone has... More

Our July trip to Rovinj was not calm, but I would not have missed this charming Medieval town for anything. Cuteness abounds! Warning: Don't wear slippery shoes or heels in the Old Town, as the marble streets are steep enough to make the going difficult, and we saw many people slip! Climbing to the St. Euphemia church is a must,... More

Old town of Rovinj is just perfect. You can walk romantic streets, enjoy sunset on The cliff and have dinner in one of dozens family restaurants. Even The tourist traps offer good and fresh food. But be careful when you walk- almost all floors are slippery!

Truly beautiful when viewed across the bay. Quaint streets with "Windows" to the sea as pass through. Cobbles well worn so do wear sensible shoes!

Rovinj really is a gem of a town. You could say a bit like Mevagissy Cornwall meets Italy. Little cobbled streets full of vibrant little shops. Street musicians entertaining a truly international group of visitors. plenty of wonderful places to eat and drink.
