It's a bit of a walk, which ever way one approaches this church which is set on a high point - a promontory - overlooking the town and the harbour. But it is certainly worth it - the uphill walk is through some very quaint...More

After strolling up the historic cobbled streets we arrived at the church. We went at midday and the views were spectacular. The church inside is beautiful. Serene. We returned at sunset and the colours were breathtaking.

This baroque church is atop hill in old town that was island until 18th century. It offers beautiful view, even better from bell tower that resembles one in Venice. Church houses relics from martyr St. Euphemia by which it got its name.

The church has an interesting history concerning St Euphemia which is worth looking up. It's one of the more decorative churches we saw in Istria. The setting of the church atop the central hill in the original part of Rivinj means that there are wonderful...More

Don’t let the rickety stairs put you off once you get to the top of the tower the views of Rovinj and the surrounding area are fantastic.
