Our 18 year old daughter had 2 great dives with this company. However planning a family vacation means coordinating some things (even though she is 18). When we arrived to ask when to pick her up they told us we should not be checking on her and shouldn’t be so worried as she is 18 (we were her transportation). Obviously the woman working there has never been a parent. On the 2nd dive when they said she would return by 11:30 and we called at 12:30 as they weren’t back yet she told me we did not need to check on her as she is 18. Again - we are on a family vacation with things planned for the afternoon. I did not appreciate being judged for being worried and concerned when she was over an hour late. Outside of this the shop seemed professional and she had a great time.

This dive operator has the necessary permits to get you diving on the Baron Gautsch, an Austrian boat that sank during WW1 when it went over its own mines. They usually leave at 10 AM and it takes about an hour to get to the dive site. You can do a second dive in the afternoon with the DSD students to a shallow diving spot. They respond promptly to emails. Facilities are spacious with hot showers; changing area and a place you can leave your belongings (no lockers) but their office can keep valuables. Rental equipment in good condition but note that they have 5 mm suits which is cold when the water is at 14-15C at depths. In the summer it is 17-18C and the divers who popped over from Italy and Austria were all in dry suits. (I was told they had a few 7 mm suits but when I got there they said they only had big sizes for the 7 mm suits). You are expected to be able to carry all your gear to the tank including the heavy steal tank. They have a kind of trolley. Philip, the young fellow who helped get my gear together, pointed to it when he told me to take my tank down. The DM saw me struggle on the way back and kindly carried my tank back to the shop. They keep your C card until you pay. Credit cards accepted.

I visited Rovinj Sub end of September and I did 5 dives. I fully recommend the dive center. Roberto and his team are very helpful and organize dive trips according to your wish. Especially the many ship wrecks are a must to dive. I come again for diving

I made last minute arrangements to join a group dive of the Baron Goutsch with Rovinj Sub. Turns out the proprietor's father found the wreck. Anyway, the dive was fantastic, the dive master provided just enough guidance, but was not overbearing. In fact, I enjoyed the dive enough to dive with Rovinj Sub for a second day. Over-all, a great dive shop with professional dive masters. Highly recommend, and will dive with them again when back in Rovinj!
