We parked, for a fee, nearby and simply followed our noses down the trail at what we assumed was the beginning of the Punta Corrente park. Our main intention was to give both ourselves and our dog a long walk in the woods by the sea. This we achieved. Actually we enjoyed a very pleasant walk, partly under the shade of the trees along the sea with nice views over to Rovinj. Most of the walk was on a white shingle/dusty path. The only slightly annoying thing was the multitude of bicycles rushing past - many of the cyclists seemed to have disregard for other users of the path and few knew how to use their bells... On the path there are numerous places to have a picnic or hobble nervously over the rocks and pebbles to enter the crystal clear, blue water of the Adriatic. Further along the trail you come to a little bay where many previous visitors had created their own cairns from the rocks on the beach. We quickly built our own cairn of 10 stones high. Will it be there if we come back next year? All in all, a lovely place to get some exercise by the sea, under the trees which helped to cool us even though temperatures in the sun were generally well over 30°C.

We came here a couple of times during our stay in Rovinj and we loved each experience. The waters are crystal clear and perfect for swimming in, although you will share the water with the jellyfish! The walks along the coast and through the park are immaculate and provide beautiful scenery. It is popular with cyclists and there are small playgrounds for children. Very serene and peaceful.

Idyllic forest with cycling paths, coves, laid-back beach bars and quiet spaces - all right by the coast. Love the beach where you can leave your own little stone cairn and try to remember which one it was on your next visit!

Punta Corrente is lovely park area with plenty of beaches, extremely well preserved and maintained. There are a couple of bars where you can have a drink or snack in the shade before diving to the big amazing Adriatic blue. We would definitively return next time with our bikes as it's immense area waiting to be explored in every single detail.

Lovely beach. Highly recommend the massage on the beach guy near who operates near a white storage box in front of Punta Cabana beach bar. This bar has hammocks and a cool vibe with great music. Relax here with a beer and soak up the ambiance before strolling a few paces to the beach to watch the most spectacular sunset.
