About
On our tour we head out to the waters just outside Rovinj to track these spectacular sea animals. Our crew of marine guides are trained to interpret their behavior and our cruises are done with maximum respect for the dolphins - so our vessels approach with great care and the crew ensures we don't disturb them or influence their behavior during the sighting.

We were keen not to join the throngs of tourists booking the standard dolphin at sunset tours so we booked with these guys. Firstly, what an amazing boat! A twin-engined rib with lots of room for the maximum party size of 12 people. The guides were fabulous - they are so passionate about the dolphins and other species of marine life and we're happy to pass on their knowledge and answer our questions. At 3 hours long, there were plenty of opportunities to find dolphins and we went right out to sea which was brilliant... Oh and yes, we did see dolphins (lots of them) and a loggerhead turtle! Do not hesitate to book this tour!

With did the dolphin trip the 22th july 2018 during our stay in Porec. It was more than amazing. It was both relaxing and exciting. We went very far off shore to see the dolphins and with only 10 passengers on the boat it felt like a private boat trip! Our 8 year old son enjoyed every minute of it, from being in the front of the boat with a dutch boy from the same age and surely when Karlo let him be the captain of the boat for a moment! I really loved the respect they had for the dolphin’s environment and I appreciated the dolphin education from Karlo and Mirtha (I am nog sure I spell it right). They were so sweet and kind. It was a very special experience to see the dolphins in their natural environment so far in the sea. Everytime they showed up there was excitement on the boat. Best experience for me since ever! Loved it and we will definitely come back. Thanks Karlo and Mirtha for making it an unforgettable memory/experience for us!

We all loved it including my teenager. The sights were out of this world and price was fantastic at just £10 per person.
We chilled on the top and took masses of photos. The boat wasn’t too crowded but we did visit out of season.

Dear Mrs./Mr., We are glad you had a nice experience, but it was not with us. Nemo boat is another company. We do dedicated dolphin watching cruises with expert guides. Best regards, Karlo

I have been on many holidays and a few boat trips to see a random far off dolphin. This however was a once in a lifetime experience. We saw over 100 dolphins pods were all around the knowledge that both these lovely young people have is excellent. If you go to rovinj don't try all those big boats...And tours book this little boat with 2 beautifully experienced people. I only had my mobile phone so apologise for poor quality of pictures.

I was hoping this trip would be special and I was not disappointed! Neither was my better half or two uni age sons. Only negative I can think of is not being 100% sure where to meet the boat on the quayside at Rovinj. That minor obstacle overcome, my family camped out at the pointy end of the large RIB as soon as the introductions were completed though embarrassingly I can't remember the names of the boat captain or the dolphin scientist now as I type this. Both captain and scientist were extremely polite and knowledgeable, explaining everything well in advance and ensuring we were all comfortable with the speed of the boat. We had barely cleared the harbour when we encountered our first pod, numbering about 6 or 7 including 2 or 3 babies. Their behaviour was beautifully described by our resident expert and we tracked them for about half an hour before going in search of more mature pods in deeper water. We searched and searched but it was only in the return back toward Rovinj did we spot another couple of pods. These dolphins were moving at speed so, again explained by the scientist, were spending quite a bit of time in the air taking deep breaths. By the time we got close enough to see them properly, the sun was setting and made for an idyllic end to a thoroughly absorbing and educational trip. Highly recommend this to anybody with an interest in wildlife 🙂

We went dolphin watching twice with Dolphin Watching Rovinj. The first time we were unlucky and didn't see any but we still had a great time on board. If you are not lucky enough to see dolphins, Karlo offers you another free trip (they see dolphins over 90% of the time). The second time we saw so many dolphins we hardly knew where to look, spending around 45 minutes in their company as they were feeding and playing. We saw males, as well as several different groups of females and babies. Mirta was very knowledgeable and this added greatly to the experience. Our skipper, (Oggy?) was good fun too. The boat is small (accommodating up to 12) so it is a more personal experience as well. The company is very aware of the impact of the trips on the behaviour of the dolphins and they were careful and responsible in their approach. This trip is a must if you're in Rovinj.

We were so lucky to find so many dolphins, our first sighting just 7 mins into the boat trip! Thank you so much to you both, we learnt so much about the dolphins and their environment (and sharks/megladons!) I have always wanted to see dolphins in the wild and to see so many, especially with their youngsters was a dream come true. Would recommend to everyone, an amazing trip with great hosts

Dolphin Watching Rovinj is an important and unique experience if you are in the area as a traveler or even if you are a local. The waters around Istria are crystal blue and attract many tourists and their boats and at times it can seem a little busy, but Dolphin Watching Rovinj sets the tone for respectfully exciting and leisure boating.

As a newcomer to the area I deeply appreciated the calm disposition of the crew and the humble knowledge they shared of the surrounding sea. It is not only a dolphin watching tour, but a great tour of the surrounding waters of Rovinj. The boat is quite comfortable and the crew will go as fast and as slowly as you like within reason. There is shade and there is a chance to continue to bathe in the sun.

We not only saw several dolphins, but we took a beautiful route and Karlo was able to explain the behavior of the mammals (Play with jumping!). The best part was that we were experiencing their presence in the wild... no captivity, no pestering the animals, just natural behavior in a wild setting.

It felt magical and was enjoyably educational. My friends and I witnessed some of the most beautiful views of our life and it wasn't rushed, it wasn't overpriced, it was just bliss. This is a captain who knows his stuff and the rest of the staff whom I met, Mirta and Ogi were very kind, easy going, and I enjoyed getting to know them for my brief visit.

Overall, this has been one of the best dolphin tours I've ever been on. A beautiful experience on the sea. Perfect for families, couples, or for a lone adventure. Be sure to bring water, wear sunscreen or a hat, and bring a warm layer for when you are zooming through the turquoise sea!

Although dolphins are often found sooner on this tour, it took a little more effort this time. Our patience was however rewarded with a group of about 40 dolphins, all around the boat, accompanied by the most beautiful sunset. We ran out of time, but Karlo and Mirta had no problems spending a little longer on the water now that we found them.
If you’re planning to go watching dolphins in Rovinj, be sure to do it sustainably with this organisation. Would do it again and again!

A lovely 3-hours boat trip looking for the dolphins, we were lucky enough to see them and it was an amazing experience! The guides will also explain you about these creatures, the area and the threats they face. It's clear that they respect the animals and they don't disturb them or influence their behavior in any way during the trip.
I had this trip with my grandma and she loved it!
Thank you a lot guys, wish you the best!
