We visited the vineyard for wine tasting. We were greeted and looked after by the owner's son, who runs the vineyard. The family are very passionate about the food and wine they produce. We had a fantastic time, tasting the excellent wines and the food prepared by the family on their farm. We stayed a little longer tasting more wine! whilst my son (10), who also really enjoyed the visit played with the family dog! I would highly recommend a visit. Ubers are around 15 to 20 euros from the old town out to the vineyard. And it you are lucky enough to be able to take wine home with you (and are not limited by a flight!) then look to stock up as the wines are fantastic!

My wife and I were staying in Rovinj and she found the Collis Farm, which offered wine and olive oil tasking. We spent a magical afternoon there with the owner/manager Juraj. We were probably there a little over two hours until another couple arrived. The farm is located on a hill maybe 10 miles outside of the city, which provides a breathtaking view of Rovinj and the Adriatic. Juraj is very friendly and knowledgeable, and low key. We enjoyed talking with him as well as the privacy he gave us while he worked on a jigsaw puzzle. The venue is just outstanding--we sat in an open-air stone building with a fire burning in the fireplace. The wine was very good. We tasted four wines--one white, one rose, and two reds. Although we liked them all, we preferred the reds. We were given generous-sized tastings. The wine was accompanied by olive oil, cheeses, salami, and bread, all made on the farm. All were very good, but the olive oil stole the show for us--it was fantastic! I highly recommend a visit to the farm for a very relaxing and gastronomically pleasing afternoon. The grounds are beautiful and Juraj explains the history of the farm and the various processes for its products. The facilities, including the restrooms, were very clean.

Had a fantastic visit to this family owned winery! Was traveling solo through the area and wanted to try some of the local Istrian wines. Found this winery online and emailed to see if I needed a reservation for a tasting or if I could just pop in. They responded that since I was just one person I could come anytime but if larger group they prefer reservations. I drove out and had a lovely time meeting the matriarch of the family who conducted my tasting and told me stories of the winery and her family. Her pride in the business and her family was beautiful. The wines and olive oil were excellent and I took a bottle of their red blend home with me to enjoy later on my trip! The tasting also comes with a delicious meat, cheese, and bread plate that is all locally sourced. The cheese made at her daughter’s farm! Highly recommend a visit to meet the family, hear the stories, and enjoy the fantastic wines!

What a special place to spend time when visiting Rovinj. Stancija Collis, the farm on the hill, is breathtaking in its unspoilt beauty and view. The family live by its mission to produce wine and olives to a very high standard and respecting the land at the same time. Their legacy is to remain faithful to Mother Earth and to our spirit. The young Alessandro gives an honest and knowledgeable tour, sharing his joy in wine making and experience. The family invite you to enjoy their passion with great wine, olive oil and even goat cheese made by their daughter. We were treated to donkey milk, a surprising delightful taste with health benefits. If it is good enough for Cleopatra, then you must try. We recommend this beautiful family working winery and olive grove. Beccy and Mike

We were met with the instructions "Make yourself at home". Over the course of the next several hours, we were made to feel welcome and a part of the experience. We were gifted a tour of the property and even met both dogs and the donkeys. The day ended looking out to sea, talking, drinking the wine, and enjoying the warm glow. Our thanks to Frano and his Mum for their hospitality! Just a few minutes from Rovinj, if you would like to visit a family winery, Collis is highly recommended.

From Rovinj we participated in a delicious wine tasting. We were allowed to taste their own produced wines, olive oil, cold cuts (pig) and cheese (cow and goat). We have already visited several winegrowers in Europe. However, the family atmosphere, the sincere attention and their love for their family business made it a unique experience. We brought another olive oil and two nice full wines (white and red). In addition, we walked around the vineyard. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Rovinj.

Dropped in on a whim whilst touring the area. The winemaker Juraj treated us to an amazing organic wine tasting experience. This included exquisite and unique boutique wines complimented with family produced cheeses and assorted meats. Highly recommended. Not normally a wine buff, but was extremely impressed by what was offered. If you’re in the area this is a must do!

Situated out of the city on a hill. Parking was easy and the winery was a relaxing experience of a tasting of 5 wines. The cheese and meat boards were an added surprise with olives. Their Olive oil was impressive we bought 3. A definite stop that should be made to experience the wine of Croatia and meet the family

My wife and I arrived this morning without a booking. We were gladly welcomed and immediately made to feel at home. The waiter (who I think was the owner) spent time with us explaining the olive oil, the meat and cheese platter and the wines in detail. Everything was top class and what made the tasting special is that all the products are from the farm and the farm, including the winery, are run on an organic basis. No sulphites in the wine. Great setting and service. Thank you

We had the most incredible experience. The tour was super informative and interesting. Afterwards we were treated to the best wine and cheese/meat/olive oil tasting. Even though we jumped in with a big tour group, Sasha made a point to make us feel included. He taught us a ton about the farm and croatia in general. The fresh goat cheese was the best I’ve ever had. We could not be more satisfied with our experience and felt it was a great price. We left with 2 bottles of wine and a new croatian friend.

Absolutely one of the best wine and olive oil tasting tours I have ever experienced. The very friendly, social nephew of the winemaker showed my girlfriend and me around, talked us through the tasting of their very own products and helped us buy some of these products. The (sustainable) products are a bit expensive but of very high quality. The wine tasting tour could even be called cheap for what you get, both quantity as quality. All in all an amazing experience, perfect for a birthday present or just a very nice afternoon. In addition to this the atmosphere is amazing!

I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning hidden family winery. The wine tasting experience was truly delightful, with a selection of 5 distinct wines. Aforementioned wines, the Trinitas red was a definite stand out and a worthy mentioned.
Each wine was expertly explained by the hosts, who were incredibly warm, engaging and insightful.
The combination of the excellent wines and the delicious platter of locally sourced cold cuts made for a perfect pairing.
I highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for a memorable wine tasting experience in a charming and welcoming setting.

We came only to buy a bootle of wine, but this was very nice visit. The staff told us a history of the winery and gave to tasty every wine which we want to taste. Rose smells lovely but the Vita is the best one.

So happy we saw the sign for this lovely spot while driving around the Istrian peninsula. A beautiful property with lovely wines and olive oils. (and dogs!) It was so fun to sample them under the fresh-growing kiwi while chatting with our wonderful server, Sasha. We were also lucky enough to have Sasha point out the stunning view at the top of the driveway - he told us to take our wine up that small hill and enjoy the view, and we're so glad we did! Thank you, Sasha!

Olive oil will never be the same after this tasting! We bought a bottle and cannot wait to share it with others with our new knowledge and appreciation of it!

They also have a rental property as part of the property - we've made a mental note to check it out for our next trip to Istria.

What a great winetasting experience. The winery gave us a tour of the vineyards, the olive groves as well as their livestock farm. You can tell that they take great pride in their craft. Shasha was wonderful and gave us what felt like a private tour even though there was a large group with us. The wine olive oil as well as the goat cheese was perfection. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

We chose the 'deluxe tasting', which promised tasting of all the Collis wines, a selection of bread, olive oil, finger food, donkey milk and a tour of the area and cellar. It's a really nice place, great ambiance, very friendly people. The tour was good, would have liked it to be longer, with more tasting and detail. The donkeys were very cute.

The tasting itself was a disappointment. We tasted three wines with very little explanation. Just one kind of bread, two kinds of cheese and some salami. No olive oil. No donkey milk. We felt not satisfied at all. We tried to explain this to the owner, but it seemed like he didn't really want to hear this. He gave us a small discount.

Maybe we came at a bad time, maybe we expected too much, but we really wouldn't recommend this. Felt like a total rip off for (almost) 500 HRK.

This was a heart & belly warming experience! Our young boys had fun running round the grounds while we enjoyed delicious wine & food in a warm, cosy atmosphere next to an open fire cuddled up to the gorgeous dogs. The mother and son team who looked after us were lovely…thank you so much! Highly recommend for an authentic Croatian family experience :)

This isn’t a tourist winery with bells and whistles. This is a true family business and they take pride in their farm. Oil is amazing. Wine is amazing. Cheese is amazing. I’ve heard the goat milk is good too but I didn’t have it. Worth a trip and the boxes of wine we brought home.
