Although my wife and I regularly drink fresh malvasia from Damjanic at a restaurant, he is certainly not our most beloved winegrower. After all, we prefer a mineral malvasia over a fruity one. But during the trial we were really impressed by the higher series. The Akacija was very special; not comparable to any other malvasia we already drank. The Clemente blanc, composed of three different grape varieties, was very complex. The Classic was a powerhouse. Although the wine was already seven years old, it still seemed very young. It is made of malvasia, but can easily be compared to a better Burgundy. The 2015 red Clemente, a composition of four different grape varieties, was again very complex. It contained enough tannin to age the bottles for another ten years. Very impressive wines. The lovely girl who pampered us and explained the wines we tasted was not inferior. She did a good job. A delightful tasting that will be remembered for a long time to come. We will definitely go back in the next few years to buy these premium wines again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. We did a tasting of 6 wines along with a plate of local cheeses, sausages and bread. The wines were very good! And the service was outstanding. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to try Croatian wines.

Ivan and Zeljka are great hosts..!! Not only are the Damjanic wines one of the best wine producers in the region ( member of the 'young guns'), so the Malvazija 2015 and Clemente 2012 are exquisite....but the host are unique.!:)
They offered us the local home made pancetta, istrian prosciutto, cheese and sausage. All delicious.:))
Highly recommended a visit to all of you who would like to taste some true Istrian hospitality and wines.! :))

My boyfriend & I cycled from Porec to Damjanic winery. We cycled along the coast about 10km to Funtana & cycled a 5km dirt road to the winery in Fushkulin (take the turn just before the pharmacy in Funtana- don't go up the hill into the town) which was well sign posted. We were greeted by the wife of the owner who was very friendly & welcoming. She had perfect English. She gave us some interesting history of the winery & some delicious wines. We had a choice of tastings and went for the 6 tasting option which was 100 Kn each (approx. €15, which we both thought was very good value). This included water & Istrian snacks & a refill of our water bottle for the cycle back. We cycled the main road back which had an excellent surface & was not busy. This was about 7km only & the wine fuelled a very quick return!

We took a taxi from Porec to Damjanic to do a wine tasting (tip: agree on the price of the cab upfront - a single trip should be around 60-80Kuna). Our host of the day was Stephanie, who kindly welcomed us to the property. We chose to do a tasting of 6 different wines in total (which are accompanied with some sausages and cheeses) and Stephanie explained the different tastes and manner of producing the wines very well. Apart from the wines, Damjanic also produces very good olive oil. We ended up buying several bottles of wine and some olive oil as well. We definitely recommend this winery. A big shout out to Stephanie who was a delighted host to us and knows so much about the wines!

Great spot to taste local Istrian wine you can't find anywhere else. Very enthusiastic, sincere staff went above and beyond to explain everything. We were able to taste all of their wines (Malvazija, Clemente, Borgonja…) It would be difficult to recommend only one that was my favorite! Highly recommended for anyone interested in Istrian wine!

A wonderful place, where one can taste the local wines. Interesting design of the room. As if you are in the wine cellar with vaulted ceilings. The owner will offer you a variety of wines. You can choose not to elaborate snacks, cold meats. You can leisurely snack, while trying different wines. If that like it, then buy it is necessary immediately.

What a treat!! We arrived in the harvest season on a sunday without a reservation and although they were very busy, they welcomed us with a smile! We loved the wine tasting, not only for the wines, but also because they took the time to talk us through it. Besides the wine they offered us water and cheese as well. We'll definitely recommend this winery!!

We found this winery by accident while searching for shortcut to Aquacolors. The winery is very small bit the tasting rooms is very cosy. We were delighted with minerality and persistance of fresh Malvazija, but the reds are the real jewel, especially the Clemente cuvee. Young hostess was very kind, showed us around and explained everything. The retail prices were very fair compared to liquor stores, starting at 8 EUR! Definitely recommended!

We set out from Porec by bike and found this oasis. The owner was charming and we enjoyed an excellent tasting.
I guess as we came a few bottles that speaks for itself about the quality of the wine.
