Lake Bled to Plitvice Lakes Tour
A person or two can be wrong, but a million can’t. Every year, that and a bit more travel to Croatia to experience the dazzling beauty of the cascading lakes of Plitvice.

Among in numerous small lakes are 16 larger ones, each with its own anecdote stemming from real events (don’t worry, we won’t spoil any right now). A UNESCO World Heritage park since 1979, the lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ever-changing from azure to green, grey or blue, depending on the number of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.

We arrived in the late afternoon (I believe around 4:30pm - though double check closing times because it changes), and it turned out to be a blessing. There was a cheaper entrance ticket, only route E was available through the upper lakes. There were very few people left in the

Up front, this would be excellent except for the crowds...at least in October 2019. October is not high season for the park, but it was still quite crowded enough (especially since paths and boardwalks must be used). We were told that in high season the wait to take a photograph
