I gave the Plitvice Lakes a rating of 3 by taking a personal average of two things: 1) I would rate the national park itself quite high as it's absolutely gorgeous, but 2) i would rate the overall organisation of the national park itself as...More

This place was so crowded it ruined it for us, especially for the crazy high price. It was literally wall to wall with people, huge groups from tour buses who didn't seem to know how to move out of the way of people trying to...More

Amazingly beautiful. Photos could not capture the true beauty of the place. The lakes were blue and fish could be seen as the water is so clear.

Wonderful experience, with hundreds of big and small waterfalls. Make sure to go to the top, and then walk down. The upper lakes arethe most beautiful. Many tourists tend to miss them. Don't take a guided tour. It's better and cheaper to take a regular...More

Overwhelmingly beautiful. Images are incapable depicting the true splendor and beauty of this Croatian wonderland. Fall colors encircled the trails and waterfalls. To really enjoy the beauty and intense sensory overload several days to explore and beat the crowds would be ideal. If you only...More

The stroller would be impossible to take, as you are walking on an elevated wooden bridge throughout the park. If the baby could travel in one of those baby carriers it would be fine.
