You take a ferry from one point to the other on the Lake. All the while you can soak in the Pristine beauty of the place. The many cascades are a joy to the senses and the boat ride a very enjoyable experience. The upper lakes are a combination of 12 different lakes. This place needs you to set aside... More

The falls on the north end of Gradinsko Lake were are favorite part of Plitvice. That's saying a lot as the entire park is beautiful and full of site after site of gorgeous waterfalls. As you take the small ferry from the 2nd entrance P1 to P2l Yu hit a lagoon like series of cascades that make you think you... More

We arrived in the last hour by the time we got to the national park. Park entrance is free for the last hour. I recommend to stay in a hotel in the park and not far out. You need a car to get to the various places quickly and see the sites parts if your only here for a day.... More

This is a much quieter part of the park and in this section, despite how busy it had been at the lower lakes, we actually had room to stop and take photos which was nice. There's a lot of lake here, you won't find quite as much of the waterfall action, but the lake is so perfect, so clear and... More

This was the first proper view of the lakes and falls which we had and it is absolutely beautiful. We visited on a glorious Autumn day and it was a wonderful place to walk round.

Just stunning, so many beautiful colours, it's like a postcard that you are actually standing in. We came on a rainy day in September and even though the weather wasn't the best, you could still see the clarity of the water and hear the rush of the interconnecting waterfalls. The ducks and the fish are used to the tourists as... More

Beautiful stunning scenery! We booked a guided tour from Split, which I am glad we did as this place is huge. The walk is not too strenuous but there are a few steep parts. Absolutely gorgeous!

We drove up from Split where it was 24 degrees and it was 8 degrees and drizzling when we arrived at 7pm. The guys at our hotel assured us it would be fine the next day...but it wasn't! Never mind, we got up early and hit the lakes around 8:30am. It was still drizzling and a bit cold but we... More

. . . . are these wonderful lakes, quiet, azure blue and full of fish. somehow the place remains quiet as it fills every day with a ton of tour bus visitors. the sound of birds above and the gurgle of waterfalls below your feet as you then skirt beautiful lakes suc as Gradinsko
