Kozjak Lake is sort of the bridge between the Upper and Lower lake sections in the park. You can take a 20-minute or so ferry ride across and/or walk alongside it, both of which are nice to do. The ferries are electric, so you can enjoy a quiet ride--if you go early in the morning before the masses. Keep an eye out for cormorants and mallards.
All ferry rides are included in the ticket price.

This lake is the largest in the park (that we saw well, anyway, the uppermost one is also quite large). We chose to use the electric boat (included in admission) to take us across instead of walking around. We also, after touring the upper lakes, returned and used the shorter boat route across towards entrance 2. This lake has a cute island in the middle of it, although maybe because we were just focused on getting across it, I didn't see it as quite as impressive as the others in the park.

Controversial to the other reviews my family did the boat ride after the walk around the lakes. For us it was the best way to end the trip as we were relaxing whilst watching the gorgeous lake.

Main and perhaps the biggest lake in national park. You can walk around or take a free ferry boat moving both directions between 2 entrances.

This boat takes you from the upper waterfall area down to the lower where you can walk to the largest waterfall.
The ride is effortless as the boat slowly glides across the water.

We took this boat ride after walking for a while and it was a welcome break. Beautiful views. I t is a shame that you couldn't do a longer ride.

Boat ride included in the ticket. Totally agree with the people recommending starting here to avoid the crowds. But the boat ride itself is also great.

In addition to very nice views as you glide along in the boat, the ride provides a welcome opportunity to rest your feet and legs. The fact that the cost is included in the park entrance ticket makes it extra nice.

Part of a long hike though an impressive UNESCO World Heritage site. Boat ride was welcome following torrential downpours of rain. Good to see life jackets stacked high inside canvas roof. Surprisingly, the bad weather made cascading lakes and waterfalls even more impressive than might be expected. Wooden platforms around the lake seemed solid, despite water lapping over the top. Good to see the site was well-maintained. I liked it.
