Lovely big shallow bay. You need to walk out for a long way before you are more than waist deep.

There are a few areas with dark mud that is fun to slather all over your skin. I can't say I found it particularly theaputic for the skin, but it was good fun! There is also a lot of sand which is unusual for Croatia. We were warned that the mud would stain clothes so don't wear your best swimwear. We just avoided getting it on our costumes and it all washed off in the sea when we had finished playing. The muddy areas are a bit slippy so walk carefully if you are carrying your camera or clothes you dont want to get muddy. Worth going for the group photos of everyone covered in mud!

There is a big free carpark on the other side of the road so easy to get to by car.

Huge beach and the sea was REALLY warm :) We parked alongside the road. There is a beachbar with drinks, sandwiches and ice cream (first place where we could buy Magnums ice on Krk). The sea only becomes deeper after a long walk. There are showers on the beach. Of course we covered ourselves with mud and had lots of fun. I have not yet checked if my wrinckels vanished hahaha.

Because you can walk few hundred meters and they still will be able to stand in it. It is much safer than on other beaches plus here is this special mud, which can be fun, both for kids and adults!

Bring something for shadow with you or rent it there. Parking is by the road but must be paid.

This is a must see place! Ideal for families with small children as the beach is sandy and the water is shallow. One thing though: bring some kind of sunshade with you or you can rent on the beach for around 70 Kuna, ~ 10 Euros (2015, June). And of course THE MUD! :) That's so cool! Also it's a healing mud for all kind of joint problems, etc. The place is between Soline and Čižići. You must pay for the parking place OR park your car before the payment zone along the road side. ;)

Unexploited natural beach with mud that has healing features. Parking is extra. You need an beach umbrella because there's no shade.

It was for me a simple shore, nothing more. It is unique in Craotia because they have not so many sandy beaches.

I unfortunate book self catering this time.My apartment was off the main highway there are no shops!! Great!you have to get a bus (maybe every half hour) to get to a mini market.Walking the highway would be folly it's fast with few pavements. The path down to the beach had 206 steps. (Not much good if you smoke or are overweight)Beaches shingle .Soline had one restaurant so unless you wanted to travel you had to bite your bottom lip in all fairness the beer was cheap. There are some Romanian ruins on the hillside but you can access cos it's overgrown. All in all this place should be avoided like the plague

You can just drive up to this beach and park in the free parking. The beach is long so be ready to walk in squishy mud. There are sun loungers (in the mud to rent). We sat a bit further back on the dry mud and it was fine.

There are a few areas where you can paint yourself full of black mud. Some even sit in the pool of mud! Once you have applied the mud it does not take long to dry. You can then walk into the sea to wash it off. Your skin is so so so soft! We took our kids and they found it great fun!

Be careful of your swim wear because the mud will stain it. Either wear black swim wear, wear old swim wear or just cover your legs. We went to a similar place in Nin and my bikini was ruined so take care!

Lots of fun for all :)

This bay is sooo natural !!!! No big wellness-hotels, no spa's with expensive treatments. You just go in and use the mud. This is how homeopathic threatment should look like
