Kosljun is a pretty little island reached by boat from Punet Bay. The island is peaceful with very few tourists. There is a monastery and a museum. Overall, a pretty relaxing trip

Košljun is a nice little island. It is so close to Punat that better swimmers can swim there. You can find cheap ride with a boat for younger and older. It is possible to walk around or to find a shadow for you. Main attraction on the island is a monastery. You need to pay the entrance fee for the church and museum.…

This small island which houses a monastery, can be reached by boat - water taxi from Punat is only a couple of pounds each way. You can walk all around the island and there are lots of interesting plants which attract lots of wildlife

Short boat drive takes you to this beautiful small island with lots of things to see there. 2 small but very nice museums, for me the most impressive was money collection from all around the world and from different periods. Lovely church and very nice park around it. Definetly worth seeing if you are on Krk island…

So... Once you are in Punat look for any boat, making transfers to Kosljun (even if it looks expensive - private - it is not like that, 20 kunas per person to go there and back). After short ride you land on this tiny island and even if you would like just to walk around (unspoiled nature, pine trees), you must pay 20 kunas per person. But once you have paid it, you can see all the museum collections and everything.. Museum has some interesting stuff (sheep with one eye), but also some... Disturbing.. (Embrios in bottles). There is no caffe, but is a small automat for drinks. You can enjoy the peace here, i suggest you to tell the boat driver to come after few hours, if you have time. We decided to stay for an hour, but it passed so quickly... …
